WHATS UP WITH PURPLE TIES? ALMOST EVERYBODY IS WEARING ONE. WHAT IS THE MOST POPULAR VIRTUE SIGNAL IS TO WEAR A PURPLE TIE AT A PUBLIC POLITICAL EXPOSE ??
Direct and cross examination are two entirely different things. On direct examination the lawyer cannot ask you leading questions. They can only ask you to testify as to what your first hand knowledge is about a particular fact or topic. So the witnesses necessarily are giving narrative type answers where they are getting into every bit of minutia about what they were asked about and often times going off on tangents. Cross examination on the other hand is considered an adversarial process. Not only are you allowed to ask leading questions, but it's the only kind of question you are allowed to ask. Leading questions are questions where you're presenting a fact or a scenario to a witness and asking them if it's correct or not. And the only proper answer to such a question is either yes or no. Witnesses are not allowed to offer a five minute speech that offers all sorts of qualifications and justifications and avoids actually providing a direct answer to the question that was posed. If the lawyers that called them thinks there is more nuance to a particular issue and want them to be able to articulate that then they can make a note of it and it can be addressed during redirect.
They really targeted the mid size segment. Funny they'd aim to take out one slice of the market. I thought it would be the mainline '1500' pickups. This might benefit the makers in that mid size buyers would just go ahead and get a full size.

Prosecutor is getting torn UP and NEW A HOLE ... this is a JOKE CASE
If staff would have thoroughly investigated this case they could have saved the State of Texas thousands of dollars.
No this came about because Paxton wanted the Legislature to pay millions for fallout from his affair.
millions.
Their intentions were political and venal. They (The Bushes) wanted him gone! They failed. Good!
@@nativetexan2333How? Why? When?
@@GeneralSulla Yes it is how this all came about. Paxton wanted the taxpayers to pay for the settlement.

Breaking Bad AG. Don't mess with Walt jr. and his charitable foundation. He will call Saul.
They went after Walt Jr.’s charity?!
Lawyer suing lawyers lawyers
AG is attorney for Nate Paul not for us regular Texan so sad.
Many Eddie Haskells among the defense lawyers.
I know nothing of this case but the mid part was such great banter between 2 clearly smart, witty and superb lawyers.
FBI/DOJ all over the edges of this hot mess. They instigated this through Mateer, who worked at the DOJ in D.C fir years.
was the AG never told to not mess with Texas?
Thata funny
How can you have a trial if the witness isn't allowed to say anything?😂
I don't get it. They sound fine to me
What aren’t they allowed to say? They seem to be answering questions fine.
It’s not the witness it’s the phrasing of the question

Great prosecutor
Any discussion whether Brandon Creighton is allowed to vote, given an alleged relationship between Brandon Creighton and Angela Paxton?
AG remains …. 🤙🤙🤙

How is it possible that the "judge / honor/ president" of a case can accept a $3million donation to his reelection campaign from the accused?
You just made that up, everyone who gave you a thumbs up is not informed,

Pay attention, it is not
Obviously you don’t understand what a kangaroo court is. Somebody said that and here you are parroting it back.
