@ What I don’t like is the bollocking he gave him in one of the matches. Every game I’ve seen he does do his defensive duties. He’s miles better than Dembele was in the department and Davies very nearly made Dembele a team member
Small point you missed. We could be 11 points away from Wycombe. 2 in front at the moment, two games in hand, and we have to play them, So potentially 11 points in front of them, 18 in front of Wrexham. At this stage of the season, that is massive. We would have to self destruct on a nuclear scale to lose that lead.
The trouble with yokoyama going on loan is he will be training with a new managers style. If he’s lacking the defensive element of his game he’s best suited staying with CD and training that way as much as possible. If he goes to a league 2 or lowly league 1 team they’ll want him attacking and being the spark, that won’t help develop his defensive ability.
I think your comment on shining hope last season was so in touch with this season compared with last .he is only young and learning all the time .next season or 1 after that I think he has still time to premiership player.🤔
Stansfield will always be judged on his goal tally because of the amount of money he came for. But let’s not discount his work ethic especially in the Huddersfield game! That is a big part of Davies game and he has been excellent in that aspect. Great player for blues and will only get better next season 💙
The transfer window runs across Europe and 11pm UK time is midnight in western Europe 🌍 That could have a lot to do with the timing? 🤔 But I do have a question for a future Podcast. I remember reading about a Blues playing banging in 30 plus goals last season ... possibly in U21? I am guessing it was written by one of you two gentlemen? Who was the prolific goal scorer last season? I cannot find the article. KRO 💙
Hogg’s challenge is now indicative to how L1 manager’s are encouraging their players to unsettle us. It is neither professional nor manly to play that way. It’s snide and cowardly. Managers hide behind words such as robust and passionate, and orher such drivel. And as for the players, they deserve to be in this league and one day to be on the receiving end. It’s not that Blues players won’t foul or gameplay but generally I don’t think the present set up is geared that way in any shape or form. The sooner we’re out of this division the better KRO
I think several of our players would step up a gear in the championship, a bit like how Ipswich players flourished with the extra space and open style of the championship teams. The problem with League 1 is that it can have a stifling affect on creative players, especially when Blues are playing an ultra low block week in week out.
The Stansfield situation is almost unique. Had we have stayed up, we would not have been able to buy him. He's been bought primarily to push us up towards the top of the Championship. This is a season for him to "bed in"
For me, one thing to keep Blues on their toes and pushing hard is to keep in mind that a total of 107 points would be the highest ever in English football. That might mean 14 wins and five draws out of the remaining games - and I can see them doing that - provided that they don't ease off. Hopefully CD will keep them focused on avoiding the temptation to ease off as the end of the season gets nearer. KRO
Hi guys I don’t understand the logic of playing Stansfield off the left, seems a waste of his talent down the middle plus he needs the service off a proper winger imo I would play Stansfield or May but not both Keshi off the left Wright from the right and Thor in the 10 and stick with it barring injuries KRO
Still saying we need another good keeper peacock waste of time to clumsy if bilek goes stoke who we getting to replace him don’t want him to go tbh but hey that’s football price tag 3.5 to 5 million
I believe its a good thing that Wycombe have stayed near us, it's kept us on our toes, great podcast lads.
Would love to see Yokoyama do well. There is an incredible amount of potential there.
I will never understand why Yokoyama is not a regular sub. Has a an eye for goal. Scored an excellent goal last game and creates chances
Agreed. And with us likely promoted by March, he could feature in the last 6-7 matches for valuable experience. Big mistake loaning him imo

hes one for the future hes stll in development and is learning english (he cant speak a word of it) but incredable talent he has

he will go to a jap league because of his lack of english

Yokoyama should be in every match day squad. Exciting talent. Is rapid and likes to take on players, something we lack.

Reminds me of stan lazaridis lights up the fans when he comes on game changer

Definitely a red card
It’s a squad game, unless we get some crazy bid exceeding 10m, keep Bielik. Great podcast as always lads and KRO from a Blues fan in Germany! ✌️
Blues 3 Rotherham 0
Where can I see this Hogg fowl on Iwata
Jay's dip in form has coincided with Paik and Iwata being missing. play both and Jay is all the better.
Don’t agree with that at all
I think this will be a tough win
I know it's not football but what do the lads think about Wagner s move into Hundreds Cricket?
Stansfield is not a winger. Can’t argue with his goal scoring, but ball retention needs improving working on.
💙👃🔵 👍 BIRMINGHAM CITY 3 ROTHERHAM UNITED 1 😃 😊 YES 63pts I HOPE 👉 MORE TO COME ON THE WAY TO WINING THE LEAGUE SO HAPPY 😊 😃 👍 KRO...

Stansfield’s not prolific imo. I don’t see him scoring 20 plus league goals next season. I hope I’m wrong but I see him more as a wide attacker.
