#FINALLY! Someone cares about #WomenWithGlasses I have trifocals & haven’t seen my bare face since the early ‘70s… For the love of gawd, #MUAs never think about the vast numbers of us who actually wear #EyeGlasses I can’t wear contacts at all & actually think I look better in the frames
Saturday morning ✔️ Cup of coffee ☕️ ✔️ Caroline ✔️ Perfection ✔️ As an eyeglass wearer, thanks, great video. I can’t grow fingernails, paper thin! I get my nails 💅🏼 done and I love it. Me time.
Thanks so much for all of these ideas-I am 61 and struggle with the purple hollows under my eyes along with how to distract from those and not lose my eyes once glasses are on. I tried your tips as you were doing them and my husband walked in-"I like your eyes!" was his comment! Yay!! I have some products that are dupes for what you were using so this makes me think it truly is not about the product but the technique-you teach these really well! Have a great day!
Good morning from NC 🇺🇸 Caroline talking about her pumpkin/turnip head gave me a good laugh to start the day! 😂😂 As usual, you are gorgeous (and your head doesn’t look big 😉). A nice finished look 👍🏻🩷
Thank you Caroline, I am an eyeglass wearer, this is very helpful. I love the way you showed us to apply the eye makeup and blush. This look turned out beautiful!!
I wear varifocals and those flip glasses I imagine will only work if both eyes have a similar prescription. I haven’t tried them because I have virtually no useful sight in my left eye due to a lazy eye as a child which wasn’t discovered until it was too late, so I just use a 10x magnification and keep putting my specs on periodically to check my eyes are vaguely similar!
I loved this video! I've worn make-up all of my adult years but I love how you always show me something new that's so helpful especially as a glasses wearer with mature skin! Thanks ❤️ Joanne
Great video thanks fir investing the time in this. Next time would you consider under eyes? Combo of darkness in corner, but also puffy or fatty areas. Thanks for all you do
This is so helpful, I don’t wear lower mascara because it doesn’t stay but I love the bit of shadow underneath. Love the brows and I can’t wait to try that eyeliner technique. Love the blush placement, and that lip on you is beautiful. I just got the tarts plump lip cream and love it.
I went into Specsavers to find a new shape frame but I didn’t really know what I was looking for. Your advice to have the top of the frame level with your eyebrows is so helpful. I can now go back and I know what I’m looking for. 😊😊😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❣❣Thank you Caroline for this video, makeup is great, Ive just tired it, but still have to work on it. You look great in both your glasses and the earings are so cute! I hope you can do more videos for glasses from time to time 😺warm greetings from Poland! Iga
When I purchased my glasses, the person helping me suggsted using dish soap on a q tip where my glasses hit on my nose. Well, it removes oil in that spot and I lovee that.
Really appreciate the time and effort you've taken to make this video. At almost 69 my eyesight isn't too bad (do wear specs for long and short distance) and I can still manage to do my make up without looking like a drunk Joan Crawford 😂. Have to say I'm wetting myself (well not literally😳) at "turnip head and gollum hands" 😂😂😂. Thanks for brightening up a rainy Saturday morning. 😊
Just tried your corner of the eye trick with my Milani eyeliner (one of your previous recommendations), what a game changer! Every day is a school day with you!
Love the makeup for glasses tutorial - much needed advice- I'll try next week at work. I alway really admired your signature short natural nails with bold colour, they always looked very chic to me. The fake nails look like everyone else's! Have a great week x
I’m very short sighted (-6.5 and -9.5) and the reason I choose small frames is because otherwise the edges would be a third of an inch thick, even with ultra-thinning lenses.
Morning Caroline. Thanks so much for these demonstrations about how to apply when you're a glasses wearer like me, so very helpful. I have a question about using mascara on lower lashes, if that's okay please? Unfortunately, and very frustratingly, I have little bare areas where there aren't any lower lashes, so I wondered if you could help me by suggesting how to deal with this issue please? I absolutely love all your videos, you're such a ray of sunshine every Saturday morning! I have learned to much, thank you!
Fantastic - so many brilliant tips that I’m looking forward to trying. Thanks so much, Caroline. Really helpful to see one ‘done’ eye in comparison to the other - very effective. Have a great week - see you next Saturday, coffee in hand ❤
Thank you Caroline, so informative, I especially appreciate the technique for the nose area, it's the bane of my life. I've tried a few elf products and loved all of them.🇦🇺🇦🇺☀️☀️
Caroline, thank you so much for this tutorial. I have been placing my blush in the wrong position all this time 😬. Going to try the flick when I have purchased the eye pencil. Thank you x
Morning Caroline. Lovely to see you as always. I gave myself my very first rubber builder gel manicure too this morning. I've just finished buffing the rubber base ready for the polish. I'm going for a cool toned pale lavender pearl. LED lamp at the ready, and press play again!
Yaaay this is what I've been waiting for, and I'm so pleased with myself, as I am doing a very similar technique, lovely to get the confirmation I'm doing it right !..THANK YOU Caroline ❤❤❤
I loved this so much I watched it twice and I know I will come back to it many times. I’ve always needed glasses, struggled with contacts and my eyesight has gotten progressively worse from my teens to now 30+. In particular your tips for applying eyeliner and mascara have been really a game-changer! Some other things that have worked for me over the years: taking my time, sometimes applying the “less is more” philosophy while still allowing myself to have fun, emphasizing the areas that make me feel good about myself. I will say that eye glass contraption you pulled out at the beginning looks like a great idea. I may just find myself a monocle for applying my eye makeup!
Morning coffee & Caroline ❣️ I have worn glasses my whole life. I use a 5x mirror to put all my makeup on otherwise it's not blended 😱 You really made your eye 👁️ pop! I like how you use single shadows, not 15... I'll take you with me and try all this out. I have to substitute a couple things but I really liked the elf cosmetics.
Thank you Caroline for all of these tips for us glasses wearers. My biggest takeaway was the blush placement. Who knew this would make such a difference! I need to try the eyeliner trick again. I noticed your nails right away 😊. I’ve been toying with trying press on nails myself.
So excited to watch this! I love those black frames. I tried on a very similar pair in Specsavers yesterday. I am a contact wearer but I'm looking to get new glasses so I can wear out. I only wear glasses at night at home! Really can't wait to hear your tips. Happy Saturday sweetheart ❤ xxxx
I wear contacts purely for applying my eye makeup! Once I'm finished - the lenses come out, and the glasses go on! Tried the makeup glasses - couldn't figure them out. Thanks for another fun film!
A great. After a bit of trial and error I’m hopeful I can do makeup every day. I always feel happier when I have makeup on. I’ve never been able to wear eyeliner but I’m going to try your trick, here’s crossing fingers. Thankyou and I’ll be watching more of your content I’m sure.
Oh Caroline, I’ve been waiting & waiting for this video! I’ve worn glasses since third grade and makeup since I was 16. I’ve been doing my eye makeup in the same way since I learned how to apply it “properly” on RUclips well over a decade ago. Despite being 44 now and loving to work with matte shadows, I rarely finish a look without some type of shimmer on my lid & brightness in the inner corner. It’s an addiction!! So, I guess I’ve been following some of your tips all along. However, I think I’ve been applying far too much darkness to the rest of my lid which has been making my eyes look smaller. And I hate putting anything under my lower lash line because it makes my eyes look smaller IMO. I think I’ll just have to make a habit of doing it so it appears less stark and more cohesive while making my eye look larger. I don’t even apply mascara on my bottom lashes because whether I apply it with the wand vertically or horizontally, I get it all over my skin and then I’m having to take 4 more steps to fix it. I’m going to keep trying and definitely use all of your tips and tricks because you’re absolutely amazing!!! Thank you so much for each & every video you create and for helping us learn the tools to gain confidence and find the love of makeup again!!! 💜💜💜
Caroline, thank you! My daughter bought me a VB eyeliner for Xmas (at some expense to her young self). I have been struggling with it assuming my old eyelids aren’t up to it. Have been scouring the internet to figure out how to use it so I don’t have to tell her it doesn’t work for me. You cracked it! And then I cracked it! One go. I’m made up (literally). 😊💛
Oh Caroline! I haven’t seen the video yet but I am so excited! I requested this one as many others have. Ok! Onward and upward. Going to watch now. Thank you so very much. ❤
I had a slight impairment seeing distance, and was a tiny bit astigmatic on my right eye. Turning 45 my age sight started to take over and at 52 I was fead up with changing glasses all the time, never wearing the right ones and couldn't get used to progressive ones that had me position my head in different positions in order to see on different distances. I decided to undergo refractive lens surgery and trifocal lenses put in 1,5 year ago. Two months ago they did a top up to remove the astigmatism on my right eye. The cost of all this is maybe 5-10 years of glasses worth 55 000 Swedish kronor, only this lasts me a lifetime, PLUS I won't get cataract. Best thing ever, never regretted it. The adaptation period was somewhat fatuiging but passes quite quickly. 5 days at home after each procedure, and then back to work. Can highly recommend it!
I use the All nighter to set my under eye area (color corrector and concealer) because powders settle in to my fine lines. The All Nighter spray helps hydrate and smooth the area and it lasts for over 12 hours without creasing. What a beautiful look. Made up but looks more natural. Thank you!
Hi Caroline! Yessss! 🙌🏻 this was fantastic! 🥳 as a visually impaired person (after I suffered a sudden cardiac arrest in October 2920) I was 45 at the time and slim fit and healthy, so a complete shock! Anyway, I’m doing really well and slowly getting back into the things I love, like make up 😍 I can’t tell you how funny it was when I had to get my husband to do my mascara in the beginning! 🤣 oh dear! I’m lucky I still have an eye in my socket! 😆. But I’ve re learned how to do it myself now and loving it again! Many thanks 🙏🏻 much love xxx
Loved this. I have facial palsy which, a few years ago, stopped me applying eye make-up because it became too complex to get it right. This vid has really helped though. Thank you. And if you ever want to do make-up for women like me whose features are noticeably asymmetrical I’d be all ears!
Thank you Caroline! Such a helpful video. I have used so many tips from your tired eyes video. Looking forward to trying these new suggestions. I need new glasses, love the larger frames on you, so your ideas are coming in to help on many fronts. Have a lovely weekend 💗
Thank you so much!! This has just solidified what I sort of knew about what worked and didn’t with my glasses. The blush placement tip is really helpful. I have a request - could you review the Byredo eyeshadow sticks please? They have some really cool colours but they’re so expensive I want to see what they’re like first (in Australia I can only buy them online so I can’t try them in store). Thanks 🙏 ❤
Brilliant Caroline, I too have a big head and my glasses are almost the same as yours so this tutorial was super helpful. I don’t do too badly with my eye makeup but hadn’t really thought too much about blusher placement. My top tip is to have 2 mirrors side by side, one is a x 7, it’s the only way I can see to get my makeup right. I can move between the 2 mirrors to keep checking. Great tips as usual, thank you xx
Thanks for this topic!!! I cannot wear contact lenses and so this is very helpful! (Until now) I started every video guessing what nail color you are wearing. Loved your bold polishes! But you have to do what makes YOU happy!!! Sabine 😘
Thank you, Caroline. I've been doing 'drag queen' eye make up to make my eyes more noticeable in my glasses because the lenses make my eyes look smaller, but I think this emphasis on light and shade will be much more effective! There will be times for a smokey eye, but this is much more suitable for a day look. I have varifocals and they're amazing... no more swapping glasses. By the way, I always thought you had lovely natural nails before as you wore fab jazzy colours and they were a lovely shape. X
Wonderful tutorial! I just ordered my first pair of totally rimless glasses. I’m hoping that I can dial back my eye makeup intensity a wee bit now that I’m in my early 60’s. I love the softer water color looks that you share! ❤
Loved this and it came at the right moment for me. As 6 years after lasering my eyes have got worse and i need glasses again for driving and watching tele... so happy with this tips!
First video ever that ive seen for this! New sub and enjoying your content. Thank you for including us glasses wearing beauty fanatics! I needed this!😊😊😊
Great video, thank you so many great tips including getting to Specsavers to tighten my specs after my Mum sat on them! I’ve been using the NARS eyeshadow primer on the bridge of my nose to stop them slipping my make up off, but still testing the technique! 😊
Knew when I asked for this you would come up with the goods! Amazing tutorial tackling the many problems we bespectacled make-up lovers face. Even help with blush placement! Thank you Caroline, you are a gifted teacher!!! Btw, still loving the eye-shadow palette from your beauty box.
Thanks sooooo much for doing this video. It is super helpful. Especially the tips about lighting under the eye. And I can’t wait to try the trick with pulling out the line with the pencil. I requested this video ( as I’m sure many others did too) and I’m do grateful and delighted you made it. Thank you ❤❤
Thanks Caroline. I’ve been struggling for the past year to prevent the dreaded glasses nosepiece from wearing away my foundation. I will be trying out your tips of keeping the area clear of base product, setting spray and a light dusting of powder shortly. I do suffer from very dark inner corners which bring my already too close set eyes even closer 🙁 so I need the brightening effect to space my eyes wider. Wish me luck 🤞🏻
I loved all the advice in this video but especially!!! how to stop your glasses slipping down your nose😅. Oh, and the placement of blusher. My eyesight isn’t so terribly bad that I can’t see in a magnified mirror but all the tips are appreciated. Thank you 🙏💋
This is really helpful, I'm fed up with distance and reading glasses, I always seem to have the wrong pair on. Just waiting for my new varifocal glasses to arrive and I hope they will be better. 😊
Great video Caroline. I’ve just bought that Gatineau eye contour cream as my hayfever is really bad this summer and is making the skin around my eyes really creepy, dry and flaky looking. I thought this would be a perfect colour/ skincare product to put in my handbag and reapply during the day 🤞
So I had a different experience with your video. Instead of watching you Saturday morning with coffee, I did early evening with a glass of beer. Not sure which I like better! I don’t wear glasses, however, I was excited to see you use the Jones Road neutralizer in Fair Pink. I’ve been using it now for two weeks with WTF in Light. So far, the combination has been working for me. Thank you for your tutorials. I do need to get an eye exam soon, though! Be well!
Hi Caroline, lovely helpful information. What brand are the two of your frames- black and blush? i love the shape - am much more of a pumpkin head than you 😂😂😂
For some folks you may be able to apply makeup by 'feel'. By that I mean, apply each eye shadow, blend, see how it looks, remember how it felt with brush, pressure placement. I found I can do a good application almost totally w/o a mirror--but I always check it just in case. Not for everyone, but maybe for a few folks out there. Another tip for eyeliner, just do some dots or short strokes, then use a smudge brush to melt them all together for a 'line'. Good for shaky hands too.
Hi Caroline, thanks so much for adressing this topic. It can be tough to watch all the beautiful people who really dont't need make up at all if your face is not perfect . I have a problem, I haven't seen any videos about. My face has a pink tone and my neck is more on the yellow side. I find it so hard, to balance the difference. Do you have an idea how to even out the skin colours to make it look more in sync?
What a great initiative to include visually impaired people in beauty workshops 😍 We need more initiatives of this nature ❤
#FINALLY! Someone cares about #WomenWithGlasses
I have trifocals & haven’t seen my bare face since the early ‘70s… For the love of gawd, #MUAs never think about the vast numbers of us who actually wear #EyeGlasses I can’t wear contacts at all & actually think I look better in the frames
Saturday morning ✔️
Cup of coffee ☕️ ✔️
Caroline ✔️
Perfection ✔️
As an eyeglass wearer, thanks, great video.
Thank you Caroline,
I am an eyeglass wearer, this is very helpful.
Your videos are always so joyful and helpful. Thank you for your work, Caroline. Please, know that your efforts are appreciated ❤
Thanks for all you do
Thank you ! Finally someone thought about us - been wearing glasses for 50 years.
Thank you Caroline! Your informative and generous videos are such a saturday treat. ❤
You are a great teacher. Love it when you explain the technique in detail. I learn so much. Thank you.
I went into Specsavers to find a new shape frame but I didn’t really know what I was looking for. Your advice to have the top of the frame level with your eyebrows is so helpful. I can now go back and I know what I’m looking for. 😊😊😊

I must agree, adored your short nails with the bold colours, they really looked so elegant and yet very modern at the same time xx
I tend to agree….
Ok fine… they are off 😂
It's like you're in my head! Yey for all the useful content you create ❤❤❤❤
My favourite beauty lady and my go to for beauty tips and advice.
I just love these tips on a Saturday morning. Thank you Caroline.x
Great makeup examples for those of us who are eyeglass wearers!
Thank you, Caroline!

Thank you . Absolutely so thoughtful of you to help those of us with low vision. Thank you !!!
What a fabulous video. So helpful and can’t wait to try the eyeliner tip. Thank you ❤
Morning Caroline. Lovely to see you as always. I gave myself my very first rubber builder gel manicure too this morning. I've just finished buffing the rubber base ready for the polish. I'm going for a cool toned pale lavender pearl. LED lamp at the ready, and press play again!

Just brought a new pair of glasses. So will try all your tips for the makeup. Enjoyed it so very much as always Caroline. Thanks❤
Thank you for this video! I'm going to use the setting spray trick. That's my issue, keeping my glasses from sliding.
Morning lovely Caroline…you make my day
Great tip on applying the mascara. I tried it and it really made a difference!
Loved this. I have facial palsy which, a few years ago, stopped me applying eye make-up because it became too complex to get it right. This vid has really helped though. Thank you. And if you ever want to do make-up for women like me whose features are noticeably asymmetrical I’d be all ears!
Just what I needed thank you
Amazing look, as usual🤗🥰🥰
Hello Caroline, yes this video is very helpful. THANKS
Thank you Caroline! Such a helpful video. I have used so many tips from your tired eyes video. Looking forward to trying these new suggestions. I need new glasses, love the larger frames on you, so your ideas are coming in to help on many fronts. Have a lovely weekend 💗

wow, great tips. Will be using them for my makeup routine!
Wonderful video as always thank you Caroline ❤🎉

Loved this and it came at the right moment for me. As 6 years after lasering my eyes have got worse and i need glasses again for driving and watching tele... so happy with this tips!
Thanks so much for these tips Caroline😊
Fabulous! I can’t wait to try it!
I have never seen these before .wow, if they work, this is genius! I will have to try them. Thank you
First video ever that ive seen for this! New sub and enjoying your content. Thank you for including us glasses wearing beauty fanatics! I needed this!😊😊😊
So helpful! I'm a -5 and recently changed from contacts to glasses. Doing my make up is tricky!
Great video, thank you so many great tips including getting to Specsavers to tighten my specs after my Mum sat on them! I’ve been using the NARS eyeshadow primer on the bridge of my nose to stop them slipping my make up off, but still testing the technique! 😊
OMG!!! Life changer! Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for doing this video Caroline! You absolutely heard our call. I'm so grateful 🥰
Very helpful
Next time blush placement please please please ❤
Your nails are gorgeous, from one gal with ropey nails to another……KEEP IT UP, your hands look so elegant ❤
Thank you ❤❤
Thank you Caroline we tend to forget glasses ❤
Such great information. Thank you so much
Thanks Caroline.
Thank you 🙏💋
🫶🤓very helpful, thank you!
Thank you so so much. Really interesting as always and delivered in such a fun way- and nails look fab too…no more painting nails in the car!
This is really helpful, I'm fed up with distance and reading glasses, I always seem to have the wrong pair on. Just waiting for my new varifocal glasses to arrive and I hope they will be better. 😊
Such a lovely look going to practice thank you from a glasses wearer.
What brand are the two of your frames- black and blush? i love the shape - am much more of a pumpkin head than you 😂😂😂
Thank you fab tips!
I wear varifocals and I love them because they make my eyes look bigger!
Great video thanks x
Hi Caroline, thanks so much for adressing this topic. It can be tough to watch all the beautiful people who really dont't need make up at all if your face is not perfect . I have a problem, I haven't seen any videos about. My face has a pink tone and my neck is more on the yellow side. I find it so hard, to balance the difference. Do you have an idea how to even out the skin colours to make it look more in sync?
