I just found your channel and I can’t believe how in tune we are as people. Like, your style, your music tastes, your film tastes… you’re like my spiritual twin! I’m enby too so I love to wear giant, oversized clothes. I’m watching all the rest of your videos now baiiiiiii 👋
I've been recommending Palo Alto to literally everyone, im not over that movie. if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it, blood orange is all over the soundtrack.
i love your videos! i drive by treasure hunters almost everyday for college and it’s so neat seeing my fav influencer in the same cities as me. ty for all your media

@@deathbythrifting you guys have everything in existence on there its really cool. im from slovakia and let me tell you right now, dont even bother visiting them
death by thrifting aka Colin reminds me of me, because of our shared passion for clothes & thrifting in general, which is why I love watching your videos, also because you make it more entertaining as well! have a good day tho
some songs i listen to a lot just drifting - psychic tv right here - the go-betweens coyotes (live) - bill callahan through skies for you - john maus no more i love yous - the lover speaks you can have him - nina simone vodi me - u skripcu world love - the magnetic fields
We Are Who We Are is so underseen! People need to get on it. I've been listening to a lot of Carissa's Wierd, specifically their album Songs About Leaving. Bc depression
hi colin! just wanted to say, I really have loved your videos recently and I am so glad to have stumbled upon your channel randomly. I really love the media section and your videos always have such a good vibe to them. also, I wanted to say that you really remind me of a coraline character, in a very good way. bang on‼️‼️
Hi Colin, the album I am about to reveal to you is my favorite thing on this earth. Minimal Man - Safari (favorite songs: 2 little skeletons, what's not there, showtime, pull back the bolt) it is one of those random punk bands from 1980 and I am so sad they are deceased now!!
3:13 jump scare but thank you. recently ive been rewatching my fav movies, recently it's been donnie darko and Re-Animator. and in music ive been listening to the kinks and the strokes 🤙👍. also great vid!
Been following you for quite some time and I love your videos a lot, they’re very inspirational and I always look forward to them I have a style similar towards yours so it really helps seeing how you layer things 🙏
You are such an inspiration to me! I’ve recently been listening to Third by Portishead just because you talk about your love for it, and I’m SO HAPPY that you’re also a fan on Blood Orange, cause I too watched We Are Who We Are and got hooked on Blood Orange after that. Fraser was a big inspiration in terms of fashion for me, I think you match his vibe pretty well too. Yay for new Blood Orange hype!!!!
yes that makes me so happy third is genuinely sooooo good and weird and its own thign which i respect so deeply. ive seen we are who we are like twice now and it def made me fall in love with blood orange... love that fraser was obsessed with fashion and comme des garcon so specific but relatable
this was such a good vibe, especially the media bit. I haven't been listening to a lot of music lately, other than a few songs by the Deadlians, Victory Vega, and The Kesh Jig by Craig Duncan on repeat. As far as movies, I've been on the terrible movie grind, I watched a truly awful movie called The Bride and the Beast last night. Right now I'm rereading The Hobbit (favorite book), and I just finished the book Veil of Shadows last night, and I made it halfway through the book Darkness Within today.
If you haven’t checked these out already I’d recommend listening to Cocteau Twins, Harold Budd, and Tom Waits! They each have a similar sound to the stuff you talk about, 10/10 recommend :)
Yeah, I’ve been listening to this really underground band recently, you’ve prolly never heard of them. They’re called the Beatles, SUPER good music it’s really surprising they’re not more popular. (This comment is satire)
bro begging you to read some 90s independant comics!!! comics are way underrated pieces of media, esp the indies of the world! Read corto maltese, love and rockets, grrl scouts, elektra assassin, the department of truth, preacher, the crow, hellboy, sin city, batman year one, daredevil man without fear, sandman, the invisibles, etc. Im telling you, you are SLEEPING on some good media out there!!!!!!! okay just a few albums ive been listening to lately and also a couple songs off of them - scrambles by bomb the music industry is a really good punk album. wednesday night drinkball and 25 are great songs but if you want something more heavy in the punk, go for (shut) up the punx - king james version by harvey danger is a really good 90s alt rock album (ignore the fact that it came out in 2000). the song sad sweetheart of the rodeo goes so crazy for absolutely no reason - no dogs allowed by sidney gish is a cool little indie pop sort of thing. really into sophisticated space and impostor syndrome - tragic kingdom by no doubt. its no doubt yk. sunday morning is probably my favorite that one is cool if anyone checks these out, then have fun!! theyre all really cool albums and i recommend them if any of this is your thing
