you gave me a huge roller skating epiphany, I just wasn't spotting alltogether which I should have been doing! also after binge watching I realised you answer every single comment you get sincerely. that's amazing. thank you
I have alot of old Sled Dogs and Snow Runner Media material from the 90s including VHS demo recordings made for stores to run. Lots of Promo material, my Father was with this Company in Colorado back in the early 90s days known as Snow Runner. I will eventually start making videos and get it up on there! I am sitting on some history I just realized!
Give me a month or so, It is still It is in my mind to post what I can on the Sled Dog VHS demo tapes. Sitting on some lost history I think. These tapes were made to play in the rental stores. Also media related coverage I think I have from the 90s.
I'm so bummed the trick park was closed - can't wait to see what you'll do on these in the park! I've been thinking about getting a pair of these since it seems like the translation would be pretty natural - but I'm coming to the conclusion that no matter what snow sport I try... there is just going to be ALOT of falling
What a cool concept! I’d never heard of them before you started posting them on IG. I did a double take like “wait is this a joke? Are those real?” So cool!
@@ShortysSkateSeries ima keep watching you so i can be a happy 🤩😍🙃 cool pumping and jumpin😎 kind of person Then start vert. This summer. thank you so much BEST youtube instructor SHORTY... snow skates next year after you get ot down so i wont be a rookie out there 🤣🥰
I wonder how these compare to ski blades? I've had a lot of fun using them in the past. they're just a little longer than these and you can go fakie etc. in a similar way. probably not as agile though!
Can you walk with them on som harder surfaces e.g. concrete or wood? I understand that they might get damaged more easily but comparing to regular shoe for skiing, you can walk with it anywhere. Do you have your regular shoes nearby or do you wear those everywhere around the location?
Yeah you can walk around in them (I did). I left my shoes in the locker. You might wear for the metal strips but I think you might be able to sharpen/ polish them if need be?
Hi Shorty's, Thanks for your video, I recently got my Sled Dogs K9,..Im thinking on getting some for my wife, but they dont have my wife's size, should the 7 men size would be good? Thanks
If they are just a little big then wearing another layer of socks will help. You don't want her feet to be sliding around in the boots as that can cause blisters.
I found them on a Korean website. The brand is Sled Dogs but they are no longer so I got these for a good price. But I know of another brand Tomsen Sports which is similar.

Yes falling is part of learning! 😂
As someone who looks up to you for your abilities on quads it is so inspiring watching you learn something new ♥️
Thank you! I do love a lot of sports.
I’ve been getting targeted ads for these so much and I’m so grateful you tested them out! Such an interesting style of movement on snow!
Yeah, I enjoyed it a lot.
I’ve been trying to get a pair of these skates for a few years now. Glad to see someone real actually using them, I need them immediately!
I can't wait to use them again but I moved to Australia so will miss the snow season this year 😫
shorty, I've said it on all of your posts I feel like, but you always know EXACTLY which video I need EXACTLY when I need it. Thanks
You are so welcome!
Respect😀👍
Thanks!

Snow seems fairly crunchy, don't think that helps :)
Looks fun, I'd love to give those a shot!

I'm not sure. I haven't tried the ski blades. These type of snow skates are more popular in Korea.
