Hello I have a fiesta from 2007 with the 1.4 engine and there seems to to be a leak in the tubes just above the exhaust manifold, what could be the reasons ?
I have a Fiesta Zetec 2005 model I just bought in Wales United Kingdom, what make of power steering fluid do I put in please?... And what break fluid? I can find the answer and don't want to go to a garage because they will charge over £100 for doing it (Ridiculous). I would appreciate your help or anyone's please.
You forgot the gearbox oil level, which you can't do without putting the car in the air on a car lift, if there is a leak from this that isn't sorted soon enough, it can trash the gearbox and that will cost 100's if not 1000's of £'s to sort out.

Why are you saying fill the expansion tank with water to the max line, when on fords own sites it states if cold the level should be just above min and when engine warm then just belove max, considering you filling car when cold to max line once engine run the water will be well above the max line
Precise and accurate information, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
That was great no rubbish inbetween. Got straight to the point and done!
Thanks!
@@HaynesManuals... No thankyou. I spent a few minutes watching that and could go sort out the car.
Where to add water in radiator?

Can i just top the power steering fluid up myself or is it best to go to a mechanic? :) (doing it myself i wouldnt be able to drain etc)
Ford make no recommendation to change the power steering fluid, so yes, just top it up yourself.

Power steering fluid is: Hydraulic fluid to Ford specification WSA-M2C 57-A. Brake fluid: DOT4
Very helpful ❤
Where is the maximum line on the oil im struggling to find it?
The max mark on these models is normally a small notch in the dipstick blade.

It really won't make any difference. If the tank is overfilled, the level will adjust itself.
what happens if you can’t close the bonnet properly😅
yeah same problem here. -
that was a bad design huh?!
I just lower mine till it sits on the latch, then use two hands and push down. I’ve never been able to just drop it and have it go down properly
Make sure bonnet is between min and max line 🤷🏾♂️😅
Jokes..... I used a cable tie/clamp to reinforce the bonnet wire
You forget the gearbox
These 'fluid level' videos are based on the old 'Weekly checks' from the manuals. Hence, there is no transmission fluid check - sorry!
@@HaynesManuals I can't find were the transmission oil goes in my car
