- Helicopters, fixed wing aircraft and massive air tankers were all weaving across the Colorado sky Thursday as wildfires have been sparking around the state.
kinda weird all these fires within the same week...if anyone saw anything suspicious, please report
It’s been very hot and very dry. They’re all in the boundary line between prairie heat and foothills vegetation. Under these conditions a spark from a plow or mower blade hitting a rock can last long enough to catch in the high load of dry ground fuel.
All are stated as “human caused” but that only rules out lightning, electrical line sparking and errant embers from other active fires.
Keep begging for growth in Colorado and surely they'll burn it all down
