I absolutely love this company and all the films they’ve made. The passion and work put into each small frame and detail is amazing
To be honest this is why I just love stop motion in general as it is one of the hardest animation to make as every time someone moves a fasial feature even if it's something small they have to take a new frame and make a model for that facial expression. Also I respect this film in particular for two more reasons:
1. It had the balls to really scare kids
2. It has the most motion I've ever seen in an stop-mosion animated picture especially in the last third where Coraline does a lot of running jumping and hiting. This is good because it does all this with out feeling stiff.
I hope they never stop making movies. I love every movie this is literal art and extreme talent. I probably can’t even make one frame of their movies.
I've been a fan of this movie since it came out, but the more the time passes the more it is consolidated as one of the most beautiful works in animation. I truly believe this will get a revival in, I don't know, 80-100 years from now. People in the future will look at it and say "damn, they perfected their craft!"
Coraline is less creepy looking in the movie. On posters and DVD she looks different

When people talk a movie magic. This is what I expect.
Just the amount of work that goes into it! Mistakes not included! Fantastic and by far one of my all-time favorite movies. It's been with me for most of my childhood and I'm thankful for it.
coraline is the kind of movie you have to watch at least 100 times..
This is the movie that first inspired me to make stop motion animation when I was really little now I’m 12
Total respect to each and every one of you who put so much love, hardwork and time to create the masterpiece that is Coraline. The movie will be forever loved.

Will Neil Gaiman continue the story ... because at the end of the film it is clear that Coraline won the battle but not the war. What kind of dread awaits us in the pre-teen tale ...
I hope he does. But I doubt it'll happen. However, Neil Gaiman did say that if he had a new story for Coraline that was as good as or better than the original story, then he might do a continuation. He said that " There's no point in making something less than the first book or movie".
