The scrutiny and critique on Sunny will inherently be worst in comparison to Megan Nepotism McCain, Alyssa and any other white woman on that show. Back to the response. I don't understand what you mean by unchecked facts. Sunny had always struck me as the most prepared and the most researched. She was speaking truths, not opinion.
From my point of view, Alyssa had some incredible commentary, but she should be able to answer basic and expected questions about her former job and not try to deflect, which is a Republican tactic. She is not bullied or disrespected, and lately, these push-backs seem to have made her stronger. She stands her ground now and has proven to be a real player in the game that is The View.

I use to be a fan of Sunny, but as time goes on she has become a race baiter, an ignorant and antagonistic bully, and her points are very uneducated and not backed up by anything. Her views very rarely are agreed upon by any of the other co-host so that tells you how right she is. Alyssa on the other hand can back up her points which is why she also is a co-host on CNN. They wouldn't keep her in the spotlight if she wasn't. Sunny just speaks to the liberal base, hence why I think the network keeps her there.
She is has morphed into a diversity hire. I probably think that it was part of the reason that she was brought on the View.
They are never going to put a true progressive on this show but at least be realistic and have an Asian person on the show since 2 out of 5 means that AAs are 20 percent of the population when they are 12-13% of the American population. It is also a fact that it is a shrinking population compared to the growing Hispanic and Asian American population.
