The only complain I can see for the ps5 in challengers is a lot of challengers probably use the ps4 controller. On MW3 the ps5 version unlocks the 120hz option and you can only use the ps5 controller and cannot use the ps4 controller. Personally they might just have to make the switch if it means more events. Also awesome show love more cdl content and Crowder you gotta put Ben in his place bro yaps too much . ❤❤😂😂😂
I got called a boot licker on Twitter for saying that running a challengers event at a loss (or substantial loss) is a dumb business practice for team owners. I'm glad this is at least somewhat focused on financial decisions and not just on the fact that it's obvious we all want challengers to succeed
Going along with console for challengers it just makes more sense for the PATH TO PRO to be playing on a more cost effective setup, the % of consoles to pc is still very heavy in favor of console. I don’t think a highschool kid should have to buy a pc to start grinding to become a pro
I get the cheating issue with PC Challengers, but so many people would be limited with it. There are pros that play on PS4 and Xbox controllers. Thank god cross progression is a thing though so you’re not totally screwed like how it was before. Or maybe Activision should just fix their games so we don’t have to deal with this in the first place, but I guess that’s asking too much these days.
In the macro, yes. But with the really competitive community, there is probably a bit of a higher percentage than when you look at the total number of players period
Ok since yall addressed it first thing i tweeted Tommy, Ben, Pat, Chris, and Sam- no one replied- will one of you instead of talking the talk about how bad PC was for the scene, will one of you please play this entire year on console. It’s beyond hypocritical to insinuate that the PCs are a huge barrier to entry for new people and for y’all to sit and continue to play on PC you’re perpetuating the problem. By having not one person from the group that says it’s a problem actually do something and set an example. There is zero reason for other stuff follow suit.
I think it's partially because PC vs last gen consoles (when they switched to PC) was a larger discrepancy in terms of hardware performance than PC vs this gen. For example PS4 was 1080 60hz and new gen as you know is 1440p 120hz and this generation has literally shifted different markets with how good the consoles can perform. So they switched to PC at a time (IMO) that made sense, but I agree with you consoles now are much more comparable to PC performance and the headache of comp cod on PC isn't worth fussing over

Ps5 players have to deal with that id love to play with the ps4 controller cause I got small hands but dealing with the normal ps5 controller

i mean it would bring back that old school vibe of LAN events with the consoles being around
also LAG probably vibe together outside of scrims and work on problems they need to improve on which helps their team chemistry a ton.
