Came across this when helping someone find an old cartoon and came across one (The First Flying Fish) where they were singing in rhyme and they went "When over the sea came a hungry old pelican, whose beak we art told could hold more than his..." which they paused, the pelican looked at the 4th wall, and the singers went "....stomach" So yeah, belly at some point was considered too rude.

Worse, they censor things even on accounts where the user is provably an adult, yet they have "farming" channels that let filthy content filter through to children (reference "elsagate" if you wanna see what I mean). Kids only know they get rewarded with new things to watch featuring their favourite characters if they keep clicking...and in that, they not only get bombarded with advertisements, they also get raunchier and raunchier content placed before them. These click-farm channels get reported, only to crop up under a new name a day or so later, shoveling the very worst content right under kids' noses. RUclips doesn't really care...but heaven help us if we say something different than "un-alived" or fail to bleep an offensive word.

You could go into chat rooms and no one would worry about being censored. Now, you go ANYWHERE on the internet, other than porn, there's gotta be SOMETHING for children in there. Take old 90s cartoons, did you ever catch the small little adult jokes that they would add in? For instance, watch anything from Rugrats, The Batman Animated series and so on. I'm 32 at the time of this video, I was raised in the late 90s and early 2ks. I remember when you could be on the internet and no one would care what you would say, do think, nothing. You could go into chat rooms and no one would worry about being censored. Now, you go ANYWHERE on the internet, other than porn, there's gotta be SOMETHING for children in there.
Take old 90s cartoons, did you ever catch the small little adult jokes that they would add in? For instance, watch anything from Rugrats, The Batman Animated series and so on. Back then it was REVERESED. Now we have to worry about people talking to children badly.
I remember going into an AOL chatroom and they wouldn't stop talking about naughty things in there and they would then go, "How old are you?" and you'd tell them, "I'm 12" they will tell you to LEAVE. But now everyone is afraid that they wanna groom kids.
