Jeff after talking with you today about the Prior and Scuzzy, I thought I would sit back and give this great trip a watch again. Thanks for the conversation today a looking forward to this season of shows...Safe season to you.
My dad used to guide for trips like this. A group of guys would pay for his expenses and he'd take them from Thompson to Churchill. I see both he and my mom made short cameo appearances in this episode! Glad this trip went well, that's not always the case for that trip!
@@carlpahlke679 The crew is working on the trail between Cranberry and Snow Lake. Next year when it is open, you can ride on groomed trails from The Pas to Gilliam!!!
Live snowmobiling just got home from Mt valin in quebec I am in ontario not much snow here at the moment ... please mother nature give us winter . I love trails hate bumpie off trails for long hauls can't go fast and it beats u up
The river kept going, but we exited the ice to get back on land at the orange building for the final ride into Churchill. Never did find out what was past the orange building…
As I sit here looking at my green grass because winter does not want to come to New England yet, I was wondering how many Go Pro batteries you had to carry to film just 5 minutes? I'm thinking a dozen all kept in a warm pack or in a bag inside your coat. Love watching this trip, this is something I want to do but my riding friends do not have the b***s to do this kind of adventure riding. They keep getting cold when we ride locally.....sad.

Looks like fun, still no snow in New Hampshire, those trails would be considered excellent in the north east, lol
WOW !!! What a great episode and experience you guys had on this snowmobile trip. Can’t wait to see Part 2 Jeff & Team STV.
A***
Part 2 is pretty good too! Churchill is an amazing place to experience. Thanks for watching Denis. I always like seeing your comments.

Great awesome video jeff and the stv crew . Puts a smile on our faces when we are waiting on the trails
We are still waiting for snow! This is awful! No snow here in Northern Vermont
I feel you’re pain. Western -NY.
Same here in Pennsylvania
The snow has not been cooperating this year for trails close to home in Ottawa. We need to hit the road to find the white gold.
Same boat in lower MI. I have to drive 4 hours north to ride. Really sucks when I have tuning to do.
I finally got to maiden ride my new 900 turbo I had since March December 26 here in Pa. Hopefully I’ll more In before Michigan trip in February
This is likely one of my top favorite episodes of all time. Great Job! Love the story telling aspect of the episode.
Thanks David, I hope you enjoy part 2!
300 kilobananas in 10 hours is 30 kilobananas an hour average!
(187 freedom units and 18.7 freedom units per hour)
You are just total animals!
Man, wish I would be able to do that trip at least once in my sledding lifetime. Pretty cool and I am up for some high mile days.
Have snowmobiled around Thompson and Flin Flon, MB many times. Some of the nicest country you can see!! Great episode!!

Such a cool place. I worked 2 years at a fishing lodge up that way on the north seal river.
awesome episode :) thanks
did you used to be on SnowTrax / DirtTrax TV?
Yes I did… way back in the day when John Massingberd owned the shows. Good old days.
Awesome! “Frappe la route”. LOL!
Awesome trip, have you done the Abitibi to moosenee? Not much of a off trail rider(on purpose anyway). Love the content
Yes it's amazing ... also timmins is a must go to you'll love it nothing better trails are like rising rails
You can’t ride this far north in ON.

Where is episode 2?
Hi Bobbi, It’s on RUclips now as part 2, episode 3. I hope you get a chance to check it out!
Nice !
Awesome video so what's past the orange house?
Bad ice!

Brought to you by yamiha and polaris, but riding a skidoo??? Awesome brand.
Shows you skidoo is The best !!!!!
Skidoo still supports STV with sleds every year for the fleet. This skidoo was a rental provided by the tour.
That’s not a very long ride - under 200 miles
HEY JEFF!! What set up do you use for your voice / recording and camera work while riding? Another great adventure video!
That’s my trade secret! Job security lol
What’s the name of this tour operator?
HI Rob, Heartland International Travel and Tours are who you want to check out for this ride!

Actually only 2! With a charger on the go at all times. Also for long takes a power source for the GP. Seems to work so far.
They need the right gear buddy, usually it freezing while we ride,I’m boarderline sweating, heated grips and seat helps
Lol
I was wondering why it would take so long to go only 340 miles them I saw the trailer being pulled.
What was the cost for this trip???
on a trip that long always take a 4 stroke
2 episodes and no reviews wth
Is there fuel stop along the way ? I'd do that run if it was groomed . They should start doing that
Nope, no fuel between Gillam and Churchill
The guides brought fuel for the group on their sleighs, along with all our baggage. It was nice not to have to carry everything on our own sleds.
Are you sure you don't coach the Ohio State football team?
