Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living in Cebu City, Philippines. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. In fact I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion sometimes where I am truly based.
I have completed my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree and I am currently working as a Project Control Engineer.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my RUclips Channel and my full-time job as an engineer. I was also a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers and we actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011. I was also the Glee Club President and the singing trainer for various competitions when I was in the university which was a humbling experience for me.
Ever since, I started watching television as a kid, I realized that I enjoy analyzing and commenting on things related to singing performances. I believe this was the foundation of my interest towards making a reaction channel.
I am a self-motivated, and a disciplined soul. I am always keen to up-skill myself by learning new things whenever I get a chance.
My real strength is my attention to detail. I pride myself on being sensitive to the beauty of vocal embellishments, be it major or very subtle.
Most importantly, I keep my reactions real and natural.
Slam - the only band in Malaysia that is not active but has a really strong fan base from 1994 - 2019. Full of talented and humble musicians. Didn't need any "cheap" publicity to stay in this music industry. Lack of promotion and media support but they managed to stand still together until now with the support of their loyal fans. The only band that performed with the original line up. They are more than a band, they are brothers. Welcome back the KING OF UNPLUGGED..look forward for SLAM REVIVAL 2019 concert !!!

This guy (zamani) is on different level. If we listen just like that, we might think "oh i can sing this song easily " but when we tried, its epic failed because the technique that he using, is one of the kind. And to be honest, in Malaysia there is a few singer that have original unique voice which is nobody can copy. I name a few. Zamani, Ezad exist, Jamal Abdillah, M nasir, Tam Spider, Lan typewritter, Ameng Sprin, Dato CT, Ziana Zain, Dayang Nurfaizah, Sheila Majid. yg lain sila tambah

I went to their second concert in their series concert that was in Johor Bahru back then in 1996 (Oo I 'm that old) It was so amazing. All of them look nice and the songs they perform were phenomenal that time
