1 Mutable (Sun) 1 Fixed (Moon) 3 Cardinal (Mars, Mercury, Venus) The way that my energy works is that the only way that I can stick to something past the cardinal initiation is if it resonates in my heart, which is where my fixed energy comes in at. The only way it’ll resonate in my heart is if there is room for me to adapt, change, and have freedom and flexibility, where my mutable energy can be accommodated. Thank you Molly! 2 Fixed, 2 Mutable, 1 Cardinal. The exercise analogy is perfect. I got a personal trainer this past April. When asked what I was most proud of, my answer was consistency. I also like the variety of exercises I'm given.
This is fascinating information and so useful to work with our modalities and not beat ourselves up for not doing something a set way. Everyone would be so much more compassionate and understanding to others, (as well as themselves) if they were aware of this information. With the Great Awakening and Truth Movement it would be interesting to know if those speaking truth are Cardinal & Mutable and those reluctant to hear it are Fixed. It feels like that would be the case and so we should have greater understanding that people react and respond according to their energy modality as well as upbringing, stored trauma and all other energies in them. In my personal Planets, the Mutable energy is dominant. But in my entire chart, I have Cardinal Earth dominant. I like to initiate things, leadership comes naturally to me. In school, I did like learning new stuff, I can absorb and retain information quickly and have that creepy Virgoan memory (Mercury is the sole dispositor in my chart btw)... I just didn't think tests and exams were necessary... I legit got frustrated with myself because I wasnt the model university student. It's only now, 10 years later that I can say that I am friggen brilliant in practice... its like I attended classes throughout semesters, hahahaha! I relate to Olivia Pope of the television show Scandal... I can think of solutions quickly, I am on the ball and can focus (but get exhausted quickly)... Molly, I did get a lot of A HA moments and I've been studying astrology for many years now... thank you. ❤👌🏾
Molly you can look at modalities in a musical sense. A sound is propagated, or cardinal, then it goes to sustain, or fixed, and finally it decays, or mutable. This is the basic way the sound works, though, some ways can be seen as four parts to a sound, I find the three part sound via astrological modes works perfectly if you're up to some astromusical hijinks ;3 Thank you as always! No wonder I don't like exercising. Yes, I wish I would have gone to a non-standard school that had a lot of variety (music, self-sufficiency, art, different ways to learn the 3 R's).
My personal planets are all mutable and cardinal - Libra sun, Virgo moon, Libra Mercury, Aries Mars, and Virgo Venus. I really don't have much fixed energy even in my wider chart, apart from Scorpio ascendant and Leo midheaven. I felt a bit insecure about that (many unfinished projects) but an astrologer who did a reading with me pointed out that it checks out given my "leadership" vibe. Lack of fixed suggests I need to get good at trusting other people as that's really the best way to fulfil whatever I'm here to do.

Moon mutable ♓, great at exploring and adapting to Spiritual everything 😆 I love the way I am and wouldn't change myself for anyone...not even my own parents, ever...and they tried hard lol.. My Mars Mercury and Moon are in a good minor grand trine, so there's plenty of good energy to my essence.. We need to find people that accept us for who we are, but won't put up with and will call us out on the things they don't like. If no compromise can be met then they must stay true to themselves.. I came to Earth to be free ✨ and to make it a better place for when I leave whilst enjoying Conciously being Aware and spreading Love and Good Will...and spilling buckets of accumulated truth 😆 When peace arrives I will be much easier going, it's just the Concious situation at the moment that is keeping me in warrior mode.. I have 2 mutable and 2 fixed energies as my personal 5 and 1 cardinal. I would say my flexibility and openness to staying flexible is really primary in my daily life for sure, but I can be stubborn which speaks to the double leo fixed energy in Venus and Mars. I can be in a routine for sure...
It's a bit confusing though between what these modalities are versus what some signs behave. because a Capricorn (cardinal) is rather very performing on the marathon ...career-oriented with long-term goals and very very reliable...he is the one who will climb the corporate ladder though long devotion..whereas the Aries wouldn't have the same patience.Aries doesn't think that much before initiating things..he is rushy and risk-taker.A capricorn hates "risks" and will on the other hand analyze very carefully anything in details and rather rely on what has already made its proofs..trust me ..you prefer advices from a Cap because this is 100% proven and secure. Aries is a great coach to help you trust in you and motivate you but do not expect from him the details of what you need to do to achieve your goals. a Virgo (mutable) is typically the person who will take care of their body (obsessed with their health), and this is the sign of mondane tasks (daily work) and unpleasant things that need to be done an Aquarius (fixed) thinks outside the box, changes everything and creates new patterns. The only things that are fixed about this sign are his food tastes and opinions . But he will never stick up to the same job nor do as you tell him to do contrary to a Taurus. well just my observation So my point is also fire, water, air and earth color differently the 3 modalities. After all a cardinal earth sign will still have this tendency to be reliable and traditional (capricorn) a fire cardinal sign (Aries) will still like passion, excitement, adventures, risks, changes etc..

I got confused on one aspect though... I have nearly all my personal signs in Virgo (except for my moon Pisces and Venus Leo)..basically I have mutubles and especially Virgo dominant...yet..bothat work and workout I act like a fixed sign....Oh ok I do need options and new passions to get enthusiast,yet i stick for long time with the same.routine...Am I strange ?🙄😁Ok i did extend the count to all my planets (and not to.to the houses...i should have??). Counting all my planets i have 5 mutable, 4 fixed and 3 cardinal...still, as a Virgo dominant I like stabilitu, routine as if i were a fixed sign. Pufff I am.strange. i knew it🙄🙄😂😂😘

I'm Sagittarius in 2nd Capricorn in 3rd house am I looking at Aries Taurus Gemini because they are in these houses so complex? Thank you v much ❤

got 4 out of 5 in fixed yet i really feel i live differently and manage myself quit differently then described. yea' very dedicated and committed but i change a lot every minute, very fickle i feel. only if i look at others i can say oh.... pretty fixed comparing, yea. still i feel at the end of that scale.
I Have a lot of Mutable energy..change has always been easy for me, school for me was like "meh" do i need this....😂🤣..now i am changing or pausing my career life ...trying to figure out what my next is...i do believe though that my Aquarius sun sometimes puts its foot down and i cannot always work with my mutable energy... i have always judged myself for being too flakey..
What pisses me off about Mutables is that they never answer the bloody question. Or when they describe something, it never looks like what they've described. Thank goodness my Mutable planets are only in Virgo the Dependable. I have nothing in Gemini, Sagittarius or Pisces.

got 4 out of 5 in fixed yet i really feel i live differently and manage myself quit differently then described. yea' very dedicated and committed but i change a lot every minute, very fickle i feel. only if i look at others i can say oh.... pretty fixed comparing, yea. still i feel at the end of that scale.
I'm mixed mutable & fixed... What a conundrum! & My mercury kid in Libra! 😜😂

I Have a lot of Mutable energy..change has always been easy for me, school for me was like "meh" do i need this....😂🤣..now i am changing or pausing my career life ...trying to figure out what my next is...i do believe though that my Aquarius sun sometimes puts its foot down and i cannot always work with my mutable energy...
i have always judged myself for being too flakey..

Or when they describe something, it never looks like what they've described.
Thank goodness my Mutable planets are only in Virgo the Dependable. I have nothing in Gemini, Sagittarius or Pisces.
