This poses an interesting concept. Each genie can grant one wish, and you have to pick who grants what wish. Depending on who you pick, you might get what you want, or get a twisted version of your words.
OOOHH THAT SOUNDS AMAZING!!! imo, it would seem like anna's would be the amateur genie, who has the lowest power when it comes to granting wishes. Will's would be the one to twist the words if the wish was phrased to sound open-ended, and Robin's would be the strongest but the catch is that his rules when it comes to wishes are less lenient and more strict.
I am legitimately surprised that after all these year's I still can't find much in the way of fan art or fanfiction concerning Anna's Genie or this concept.

Well... The animatic is a perfect mix of all three, I'll give you that, but the song mix used (made by a different person I know) occasionally had problems transitioning from Will Smith to Annapatsu, since they're both different takes of the original songs. Otherwise sure.

This was so beautiful I love the dynamic between them. My only criticism is that you should have included more if Anna singing, it was more between Robin and Will but other than that 10/10 best animation my soul can Rest In Peace
Concept: every genie = 1 wish Depending on the wish one will disappear OG Genie: disappears at the free all the genies wish ( we really just need him with us please!) or disappears at the make me a prince wish ( essentially making a camio) Anne Genie: disappears from the not drowning wish ( less impactful to the scene) or become a prince ( way less impactful to the movie, but maybe a sweet scene of her designing his outfit similar to what Will had) Will Genie: final wish ( how sweet) or Save from drowning ( suuuuupperr impactful) Jus reimagine the saving scene except just as Will’s explaining what he did to save him he’s slowly sinking back into the lamp. Or He disappears right as the wish is made and Anne or OG have to explain to him what happened after the fact. Hard hit scene.
And when he finally wishes to free them, it sets them all free from the lamp they were trapped in, and so they all get to come back in the finale(and sequels)

I like your concept, it really hammers in the idea that they’re literally prisoners to the lamp, which makes the final wish freeing them all, more impactful.
Robin would definitely be the light hearted father. Will, the trickster eldest son who has more in common with the traditional Djin in terms of wish completesion. And Anna, the youngest and most inexperienced with wish making.
Wow I love the cinematography and smoothness of the whole thing. You got really creative with the magical aspect and it was amazing! I would love to see a fully colored animation of this! (But I understand if you wouldn’t want to) All in all, great work!
the incorporation of the beatboxing, and instead of just will smith beatboxing, turning it into ruffling a deck of cards, and having it spiral with aladdin landing at the bottom, is actually genius
This version is the best one. Each genie has their own part to sing and they don't sound like their competing with one another. They sing like they're one person split to three
I'm applauding. They are like roommates of the lamp. Robin is the best forever but they all have a flavor they add to this musical fine dining dish to your eyes and ears. I cant fully articulate what i mean but for instance Anna looks elegant yet very energetic 00:30 and feminine which i find works so well for the radiant kind of magic. I thoughts so here 01:47. I like how you made them move in sync like this 01:13 I would LOVE to see this animated for real, Especially this part 01:15 Seriously well done work!
The sequence from 1:24-1:40 of Robin juggling to passing it to will to Anna to do a magic trick and pulling out a flower to reveal themselves singing together sprouting OUT of the flower, the camera spinning around them and then Robin pointing Will out to aladdin to focus on him for a sec to Will then do a card shuffle and laying out the cards to reveal Aladdin at the end of the deck is just… DUDE. THAT’S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. I LOVE THE IDEA OF THEM PLAYING OFF OF EACH OTHER LETTING EACH OF THEM SHOW OFF THEIR SKILLS AND ALSO THEM JUST APPRECIATING EACH OTHER AS THEY DO! GAAAAAAAAAAAAH IT’S SOOO DANG GOOD. I’d love to see this full entire video fully realized and reanimated, especially bringing that part of the video into the redone version by Late-Tea again since it’s been a few years since they released this animatic. It would be a interesting plotwist if the reason their all genies and stuck together is because they each one broke one of the three rules so spectacularly that they were forced to be enslaved with this cosmo power and stuck with people who would definitely question and disagree with each other motives in a itty bitty living space for all eternity. Until a heroic theif came along with his monkey.
I see Robin Genie as the old, fun dad, Will Genie as the cool brother/son, and Anna Genie as the slightly annoyed, twin sister. I LOVE IT AND THAT WORKS PERFECTLY.
You know I just realized, imagine if they had this idea in the remake, three genies in the lamp, one for each wish. Imagine having three eccentric personalities forced to live together. You could get a lot of comedy from watching them interact off each other. It would at least have been something creative and different.
I do wonder how she feels about being on a similar pedestal as Robin Williams? I know I'd be in shock and awe of it all. Dont get me wrong. I LOVE her version and think she deserves it. It's just being put in the same league as a legend! I know I wouldn't believe it if it happened to me :)

The fact that you mixed all three is iconic. Guess im getting 9 wishes. Honestly this was amazing like that dance trio and when yhey all sprouted together. Like you managed to make me laugh and love the vocals even more. Even made me like the will smith one just a pinch more even tho its my least fav. Honestly 10/10. This is an awesome trio version of Friend Like Me! While I was watching this, my little sibling came in and asked "Is that Genie?" I said "Yeah! Thats him, the other two are his genie friends." My sibling smiled and danced. Lol
I don't say this lightly, I think this might be the best version of the song I've ever heard and actually made me like Smith's version. Whoever was the girl singing, holy crap she has a talented voice
I still come back and watch this from time to time because its soooo good the mixing, animation and idea. I love the idea of 3 genies one for each wish so you get these different personalities and ideas from the genies about what to wish for.
I am so satisfied with this version absolutely flawless, they don't over power one another like most do. Also the animation is on point too, thank you for this!

The movements and transitions in this are so energized and awesome. It’s also funny how they are all singing that he’s never had a friend like them despite all playing the same role.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAH IT’S SOOO DANG GOOD. I’d love to see this full entire video fully realized and reanimated, especially bringing that part of the video into the redone version by Late-Tea again since it’s been a few years since they released this animatic. Or have help from other animators too or something. It would be PERFECT. Idk why I haven’t seen this until now but DANG the level of imagination of this animatic is ON POINT.

It would be a interesting plotwist if the reason their all genies and stuck together is because they each one broke one of the three rules so spectacularly that they were forced to be enslaved with this cosmo power and stuck with people who would definitely question and disagree with each other motives in a itty bitty living space for all eternity. Until a heroic theif came along with his monkey.

I see Robin Genie as the old, fun dad, Will Genie as the cool brother/son, and Anna Genie as the slightly annoyed, twin sister. I LOVE IT AND THAT WORKS PERFECTLY.

This truly amazing. Its all so smooth so well choreographed and put together. And the characterizations are all on point.
You know I just realized, imagine if they had this idea in the remake, three genies in the lamp, one for each wish. Imagine having three eccentric personalities forced to live together. You could get a lot of comedy from watching them interact off each other. It would at least have been something creative and different.
I love that Anna Pantsu is just forever now part of the Genie trio 🥺❤️
I do wonder how she feels about being on a similar pedestal as Robin Williams? I know I'd be in shock and awe of it all. Dont get me wrong. I LOVE her version and think she deserves it. It's just being put in the same league as a legend! I know I wouldn't believe it if it happened to me :)

For some reason I just imagine the original genie and the female one are good friends but they kinda don’t like the new genie because he is hip and cool and the female genie and the original would go a long way back. Ok thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Like you managed to make me laugh and love the vocals even more. Even made me like the will smith one just a pinch more even tho its my least fav. Honestly 10/10. I still come back and watch this from time to time because its soooo good the mixing, animation and idea. I love the idea of 3 genies one for each wish so you get these different personalities and ideas from the genies about what to wish for.
