What a great person and have great voice both sing very deeply with ♥ if they would be we listened many more gazals but nowadays no one sing just like them and no-one carrying their tradition onward ❤❤❤
Undoubtedly, it's just a few hors of continuous listening and you get hooked to it. One cannot express the chords which strike deep inside and transport un to another plane.
I have seen 2 concerts of Jagjit ji & Chitra ji in Bombay. The first concert was a fairly different experience for me. What a decent crowd. They started with newly composed ghazals till interval and after interval it was "Aap Ki Farmaish" session. In the first half the auditorium was lit with medium lights because there were many people who had pens and pads in their hands to write down the new ghazals. (Google, RUclips, were not born in that era) we had only Doordarshan and Radio. While the duo were alighting from the car, the fans had bouquets for them. During the interval, people would meet and greet them in the green room and give their reactions on the new ghazals recited and handover slips with their Farmaish. After interval, the crowd would clap with the lyrics, cheer them and the ghazal maestro would have the audience in splits with his jokes. When the show ended, people would gather again for the duo to leave in their car and wave good byes to them. I cherish these memories just like @manoharsagoo8968 who clicked the photograph of the duo in Canada.

Only one from The Gold Disc (1981), and rest all from Desires (1989). Why so? Did Visions (1992), Unique (1996), Rishton Mein Daraar aayi (1996), Jeevan Kya Hai (2005), Insight (including old Jeevan Kya Hai 1994), Ae Mere Dil (including Humsafar Hota Koi Toh both versions and an Instrumental of Hum Toh Hai Pardes Mein 1983), die? Also, did Jagjit Chitra Live In Trinidad complete collection (Chirag 1979, 1991 and Tareef Uss Khuda Ki 2001) and Tum Laut Aao (1983) die? Why only Desires? that too in a bad quality? Don't you have a good digitaliser?
