It's very odd to me that when the video shows a cop shooting a suspect, there is an age verification but if it's an officer getting shot, no age verification.

That kid's parents should honestly be investigated if that 14 year old has committed 50 crimes since he was 7. At 7, and even kinda 14, the parents should know where that kid is pretty much at all times. If he's done that much sh*t, the parents had to have done something to him, like physical or sexual abuse, completely ignoring him, and/or failing to be a parent. He somehow managed to get a gun and could've easily killed someone, or himself.
His parents are dead or nobody knows where either of them are located, my understanding is his elderly Grandmother has had him since he was a baby and the mother and father (never married) had severe drug problems. Grandma wasn’t able to handle this out of control youth plus she wasn’t young when he was just left behind with her. It’s a making for the situation that’s happening and I’m sure DFCS (children services) have been trying to keep and eye on but when you have 25-30 children per every 1 DFCS officers, those aren’t good odds. Just a very horrible situation all around.

When the Gulf War II kicked off I was still in the reserves. My dad, a Vietnam Vet (Navy), called me all hammered and told me to never trust anyone in a warzone, including kids. He went on for a good while telling me not to hesitate to kill those "little bastards" if they were a threat. I never got activated. Probably one of the deepest conversations we ever had. Proud to say he's been sober for many years now.

The bomb exploded and killed everyone of those kids plus some of the American service members inside. In a war zone, you don’t trust anyone that isn’t a fellow soldier from your side, cause if you do, it might cost you your life.

Yeah at 4 years old with good temperament parents both mon and dad, this little guy still has a good chance but needs a complete new community and then it’s not like he’s leaving school friends behind, so everything will be a fresh start with help of a good therapist as well should prove that he can be a smart productive member of society. I’m praying 🙏🏼 for this little one and shame on his father for literally starting him out on a path for a horrible and possibly a very short life.

Fun fact: Until March of 2021 I was a LEO with CMPD. Funner fact: I knew this officer and we were academy classmates. Funner-er fact: I've known this officer since we were about 6 years old. Grew up together, graduated high school together, played soccer together in club and school for about 12 years.

In my home town, Walla walla, Washington, there was a shooting at Walmart where a cop got shot multiple times and took a couple bullets to the head. The cop then drove HIMSELF to the ER where he is currently recovering. I believe there should be some sort of camera footage of it and would be worth a look at. There was a kid in my middle school who had a similar wrap sheet going by the time he was twelve. He was sentenced to boot camp to 6 months, but ended up staying for two and a half years and got out right before we started high-school. All through high school he was polite and well behaved. I haven't kept up with him since, but the reforms stuck with him for years. I think the kid in this video is a prime candidate for a couple solid years of bootcamp.

It's pretty much always in cases like that, that the real cause is parents who are huge scumbags that just don't care. For the same reason foster families who spend a normal amount of attention on such a kid won't be able to fix it any longer. That's mainly why such bootcamps work: Remove them from the environment that was destroying them and basically run their life for them until they realise that 'hang on, this is actually more comfy than being a street kid'.

I was just talking with a coworker about when its time for children to be imprisoned and I cannot believe how far they are willing to go to protect their own from consequences. We were talking about a 14 year old who stole a brand new car and lead police on a highspeed chase and he (Wont mention race) Said that the kid doesn't deserve to go to jail because the system is corrupt and putting young people in jail will just make them into criminals. These are the kinds of people who are the jury who set these 13/58's free to rack up so many offenses.
The family upbringing is already making them criminals. Being in jail isn't harming them any other than removing many of their opportunities to expand their rap sheets.

In my home town, Walla walla, Washington, there was a shooting at Walmart where a cop got shot multiple times and took a couple bullets to the head. The cop then drove HIMSELF to the ER where he is currently recovering. I believe there should be some sort of camera footage of it and would be worth a look at. There was a kid in my middle school who had a similar wrap sheet going by the time he was twelve. He was sentenced to boot camp to 6 months, but ended up staying for two and a half years and got out right before we started high-school. All through high school he was polite and well behaved. I haven't kept up with him since, but the reforms stuck with him for years. I think the kid in this video is a prime candidate for a couple solid years of bootcamp.

It's pretty much always in cases like that, that the real cause is parents who are huge scumbags that just don't care. For the same reason foster families who spend a normal amount of attention on such a kid won't be able to fix it any longer. That's mainly why such bootcamps work: Remove them from the environment that was destroying them and basically run their life for them until they realise that 'hang on, this is actually more comfy than being a street kid'.

I was just talking with a coworker about when its time for children to be imprisoned and I cannot believe how far they are willing to go to protect their own from consequences. We were talking about a 14 year old who stole a brand new car and lead police on a highspeed chase and he (Wont mention race) Said that the kid doesn't deserve to go to jail because the system is corrupt and putting young people in jail will just make them into criminals. These are the kinds of people who are the jury who set these 13/58's free to rack up so many offenses.
The family upbringing is already making them criminals. Being in jail isn't harming them any other than removing many of their opportunities to expand their rap sheets.

You don't hear nurses running away from a coding patient. I wonder whose more likely to beat their wifes cops or firefighters. I support most of my emergency workers. Just not the ones who step on people's neck for 8 minutes.
