Genshin impact but lumine is done with EVERYTHING.
I mean, the Traveler was done with everything at the start of the Inazuma arc, until Ayaka rubbed their nose in the harm caused by the Vision Hunt Decree and forced them to care despite their best attempt to just get into from the Shogun and leave everyone else to clean up their own messes.
Lumine is tired of Aether being the main character.
Inazuma arc had so much potential in showing us the effects during the war.
The journey should hav been more chaotic for the traveller AFTER Baal tries to kill her. There should have been more rounds of battle between the resistance and the shogunate. Should have showed more coordination on how Beidou and Kazuha fights alongside us and MOST IMPORTANTLY they should have showed Kokomi's capabilities as a "strategist" as they always bluff about in teasers and trailers.
It was done poorly. Mihoyo did so well for stories in Mondstadt and Liyue but there was much potential to show every dark side of Inazuma because it's what it was about. And why was there just one battle? On top of that they should have build more character and story on Teppei if they really wanted his death as a tragic one. Like maybe a side world quest on his backstory to make us like him more?
And Kokomi. A strategist? Because it's very ironic of a "smart war strategist" to accept help from strange allies in a middle of a war who were legit giving out delusions and killing her soldiers. She is a strategist alright.🙄 Even Gorou had a better character.
So I wasn't the only one who thought Inazuma was a bit half-assed
Could’ve seen more of the Kujou bunch as well, especially Sara. At the point where Kazuha and Gorou apprehend the Shogun with a bunch of soldiers, we could have an injured Sara walk onto the scene and witness her own god’s cruelty. Since Sara’s ambition is to devote herself completely to the Raiden Shogun, you could even add a part where her vision _flickers_ when she adopts the image of a ruthless leader into her mind. These are just my ideas, though, but I overall agree: Inazuma was wasted potential.

Honestly the Archon quest was just "yay the war is over and the Vision Hunt Decree has been repealed! We will not be discussing the countless deaths, terrorism, trauma, broken families, and bandits that came about because the the local waifu decided to hide in her room for centuries instead of doing her fucking job! The Electro Archon is a sad uwu pretty girl with sword booba! Yay, besties!"
Not to be wild, but this is why I deadass can't stand Ei. I look at her and all I can think of is when she told me Teppei deserved to die for rising above his station and trying to fight back against the decree.
Ei's massive crimes against Inazuma: sealing her people off, starving them from fishing ban, taking their visions away (coward because vision holders could overthrow her and become gods), knowing about the civil war and the deaths Signora's delusions had caused, attacking Sara who thought Ei was innocent (surprised Sara never told the clans), lying to the clans about being innocent and tricked by the fatui to keep herself in their good graces (she told us she knew everything in the other dimension and just didn't care for human life, and than finally admitted she was wrong and only apologized to the traveler thus far in her story quest...when she needs to come clean to all of Inazuma). Seriously, Ei was worse than Decarabian, and he died for his crimes against Mondstadt.The only reason Ei is getting away with this is because she is hot. Total BS... Not to mention she is the worst mother in Teyvat. Abandoning her sentient son because she was too much of a baby herself. Didn't even want to stick around to govern her own nation, let alone raise new life. And she was so much of an idiot that she made the Raiden Shogun follow specific parameters and to be un hackable. So now that she has changed her mind, the Shogun views Ei as a threat to her programmed eternity. Cue the 2.5 boss fight~
BTW Just want to let you know, because lots of people keep getting confused on this, Scaramouche wasn't in charge of the delusion factory. Signora created the factory and was handing out the delusions to the resistance. Signora is the reason Teppei acquired the delusion, not Scara. All Scaramouche ever did for the fatui, shown in the story line, is reconnaissance missions. Both in the meteor event, and checking in on Signora's solo project as a visiting supervisor. Scaramouche even said during the encounter, "I'm not the mastermind here. What are you waiting for? Go after them." Of course he heard about the deaths in the resistance, so he decided to mock the traveler about it. All Scara ever did was mock and threaten the traveler. Ei was worse in actually trying to kill the traveler twice. And the traveler got some revenge for Teppei when Signora lost the duel and was executed. But anyway, the only reason any of this happened was because Ei was a horrible god and didn't care about the people. Her getting off scott free is the worst decision miHoYo made so far.
@@riatanina Signora wasn't the one in charged either, it was Pirro, it was confirmed by Scaramouche that all fatui listen to him and follow his orders. (This is the reason why Scaramouche was in mond investigating the meteorites to begin with.)
And it was confirmed that every move that the fatui did in inazuma was done by separate people, without much knowledge about the other harbingers/fatui that were involved in all of this.
In fact the destruction of the wards, the sabotaging of the furnace and the one who kept leaking the information for the resistance to keep fighting was done by a single agent called "Nathan", and his mission was so secretive to the point where no one must know it, and if they did they're gonna turn into experiment rats for the fatui.
The mastermind behind all of this wasn't Signora but Pirro, Signora was never that kind of person who's smart and manipulative enough to be a mastermind. She's clearly just a pawn, the only thing she did was to transport some crystal marrow, and trying to keep the traveler away from the shogun so she can succeed in her mission. (Trying to take the gnosis was her main mission.)
It would have been better if at the end of the quest zhongli just comes in, grabs her by the ear, and locks her in a barrier similar to azdiha

@@riatanina 100% agree. Look, I love evil characters, Scaramouche is literally my favorite one in genshin, but the way that everyone just glosses over what she did made me feel a bit hurt. People were literally killed for not handing over their visions and there were two responses I got when I brought it up. One, “Yeah, but that was Radien, not Ei.” This is a horrible argument for several reasons. Ei was the one who made the puppet for the exact reason of trying to preserve Inazuma by reaching “eternity,” no matter what. Ei was also the one who made the puppet so cold and emotionless. She literally almost killed, instead abandoning, Kunikuzushi (Scaramouche) for being able to cry [see the Husk of Opulent Dreams set.] The second response I got was that she did those things because she was scared of losing something else after she lost her sister, therefore makes her sympathetic. While I get, yes, sad story, the way that everyone just forgets that because of her selfish actions many people probably have lost their own family or family members. Not to mention, because she abandoned Kunikuzushi, he was taken in by bad people. If Ei didn’t toss him aside, it would have prevented him from committing who knows how many horrible crimes. I’m fine with people liking Ei, I really am, but I get super pissed when there are those loud people who just act like she did nothing.

@@vivienmcnab4511 Yes, I agree. I am also a Scaramouche fan and know all of that as well. I argue quite often with Ei simps. They usually get tricked by the lie made to the clans, about Ei being innocent. Not understanding why she pulls the traveler aside afterwards and apologizes. It is because we are supposed to know she is guilty. But the dummies always forget that she says the Raiden is an extension of her. Not to view the Shogun as separate and that she approved of everything it did. Sort of funny cause, you can't blame a robot for following its programmed orders. Everything the Shogun did, was because that is what Ei wanted. Only now have things changed. Since Ei has changed her mind, and the Shogun is un hackable...it will view her as a threat to the eternity parameters. Ei's own fault for not putting in a fail safe. Also how Scaramouche is sentient like Albedo. Which is one of the reason she abandoned him. Didn't want to rule her own nation, let alone raise her son. And why she made the Shogun merely a programmed vessel. If it thought for itself, the Shogun would have different ideals and opinions than Ei. And since Ei wanted it to rule in her stead, she made it's programming absolute so as not to erode. Which since EI has changed against her original wishes...now Ei is screwed. lol I hope she has to confess her sins during the 2.5 fiasco of the rampaging Raiden.

Me who has both Kazuha and Raiden on the same team.
Having become a Kazuha main and lover before playing the Inazuma chapter, I was so prepared for a moving story about his reconciliation with his "friend's" death, about the Shogun's relatable struggles to a fear of time passing and eroding what she loves, a story about people y'know. Idk, much like the rest of the community, the hype for Inazuma was REAL. I had really high expectations, and I honestly can't describe how disappointed I was with the mess we got. The lack of an even remotely good conclusion, the lack of decent character writing, the horrible pacing. I really regret investing so much time into this game, even though I still treasure the good memories I had before 2.0 😭
with the new info, hopefully whatever is in 2.5 fixes the chaos that is Inazuma archon quest. Its a good story with weird storytelling

Yeah, the story was so much they had to you four character quests to help out. The only one I liked was Yoimiya, very little involvement with the story, and actually fun to be with. Just wished they included a bit more on the Traveler missing their sibling, it was set up pretty well in Yoimiya's quest actually. Ayaka just seemed to be a stall till more content was released.
@@Drave_Jr. I actually liked both hers and Ayaka's, but only bc they felt separate from the awful story and didn't include Ei lmao. I think the problem was wanting to tell the story in 2 patches. They should have developed several plot points further, especially the ending, and included more variety in characters. My main issues were the pacing (some scenes dragged on and others were really rushed) and bad villain, so spacing out the quest furthermore and using that time to develop Ei, Yae and perhaps a few of the Inazuma cast would have been greatly beneficial.
Since I became a Kazuha Main before Inazuma came out. I was kinda just ready to burn Inazuma to the ground with a vengeance in my heart. Now I know it was all a big misunderstanding and now I want to burn Snezhnaya and the Fatui to the ground

I mean we literally befriended a person who caused mass depression, suffering, deaths and cause of economy problems and a fight addicted and genocidal fatui who's boss is to fight against heavens(who also doesn't give a f about the other gods as long as the goal can be achieved) .
At least, Childe admited he was never a good guy in the first place and is treat as such in the story while Ei is forgiven for everything by literally everyone, people of Inazuma, Yae, the traveller, Kokomi, Itto, Sara even Kazuha. Only Gorou and some random NPC in Watatsumi who we villinize have a grudge on her so far. She never refect on herself nor apologizes for anything.
@@primsy I think that kinda the point. Let's see what happens in the upcoming quests with yae and Raiden. She is coming as a boss in 2.5, so there must be a reason. I really hope they touch on the suffering Raiden caused to her people.

The story was so garbage, and yet nobody acknowledges it because they’re all simps for Ei and the lady with fox ears.
The story gave them what they wanted (hot ladies) and they didn’t ask any more questions. It ticks me off when their simps say something like “And her part in the story was so crucial.” You literally just revealed you know nothing about the story because if you were actually paying attention, you’d realize so much was sacrificed and destroyed for the precious sales and waifu.
They tried so hard to redeem Ei when people love a villainess, and Yae was shoved into the story for fan service so Mihoyo could hide how terrible their story was. The resistance was shafted, Kokomi and Gorou were shafted in their own war, Kazuha was given nothing more than a single knife block to settle all of his grief and anger, and yet most of the community walked away not caring at all.
People who care about the story don’t exist to Mihoyo or the community. If you have problems with the story, the game gaslights you and pretends nothing is wrong, and neither does the community. It’s been so difficult to find people who aren’t just simping over the new character and can actually see the poor writing.
It makes you feel alienated and alone and questioning what the point even is when no one cares and no one is listening. Should I stick to my opinion when I know I’m right, or should I give into the people who have shown they don’t care about me unless I do whatever they say? Because they will continue to pretend I don’t exist until I give in and choose to rejoin the community and stop caring.
And it hurts me so much when people say “criticism towards the game is just because you don’t like the game.” I know when I played the game, I never skipped the dialogue, I listened, I paid attention because I was open to seeing what this game had to offer me and I was happy that I was rewarded with a good story. Now, my effort and time are repaid by a kick to the teeth and denial that I ever existed. I wouldn’t be so mad at the story if I didn’t care about the game, in fact, I could even say that if you don’t have a problem with the story that You don’t care.
And I’m sorry for pouring my heart out, but it sucks because I love this game and I continue to play it, and it’s so painful when a game I adore this much treats me like I don’t exist, and continuously gaslights me like nothings wrong. Like Kokomi and Gorous character development weren’t stifled, like Ei is suddenly a good person, like Yae Miko is suddenly an interesting and crucial character, like Kazuha didn’t get the biggest middle finger for all his grief. But it’s never going to end because it’s too far into the game for them to give a single crap about what they did wrong before, and I have to continue being gaslighted at every corner because they refuse to admit anything is wrong,

Bro even though i'm an amateur lore nerd for this game i'd love to just read you spitting out all of your lore frustrations because i am in the same boat just much less aggressive and more passive.
I loved the story when i first played but i was horribly disappointed when the game suddenly wanted to pretend Teppei didn't even exist. Like- we didn't even get to join the Resistance in mourning for their lost ones even for a tiny bit. Kokomi's story quest felt like a slap in the face when she basically stated to forget about ever mentioning him with a weak "it'll make Traveler and others mad/upset". I wanted to see his uniform placed down onto a memorial for him and be there for him! The traveler got so emotional over his death and yet never bothered to feel anything about not attending any form of grievance with the troops they've fought alongside for weeks??
It all semi fell downhill after that realization and got a lil worse at Ei's story quest. I still enjoyed it but in terms of it's continuity, especially with it being right after everything, it felt wrong. We were still all trying to get over the most epic battle in Inazuma's nation but still everything felt so... Sugarcoated, quite literally in Ei's case. It makes me rate Ruu and Watatsumi's Enkanomiya teases much higher on the tier list in terms of storytelling within Inazuma.
I like living in the moment with stories then try picking it apart after, so i don't feel burntout or feel like i'm gonna suddenly dislike Genshin bc i really love the game despite the numerous issues and flaws that may arise from it and it's creators. It is shameful that an Archon Quest feel so rushed and disastrously flawed but at least it can be a learning lesson for Mihoyo, hopefully to try and write better stories going forwards. Who knows, next Archon/story quest in Inazuma could actually save them if they actually take that opportunity to do so. I'm really hoping so, even if it seems unrealistic to, i want them to fix it like they fixed Lantern Rite's problems previously.
I refuse to read all of this, but for my experience, i already accepted that the story is like, in third place for Mihoyo, first is the characther, then the world, and they excel at both of them, the story is an excuse for the other two exist, and if you can content with just that, you can still have a lot of fun at Genshin.
I didnt play for myself, but i heard that out of the three, Honkai is the best game if you want a strong story game.
Tho, dont take anything i said as the stupid "If you dont like, dont play" argument, just sharing my thoughts.

I got Kazuha as an accident and a joke with my friend, now I main him and wanted to burn Inazuma to the ground despite the "oh no, the shogun is a closet weeb" thing. I forgave Signora and I did not forgave Ei

I think a lot of people would agree even though it's pretty, it's more pain to traverse through than Liyue's mountaintops.

I love the comic lol, Kazuha was literally me towards Raiden Shogun until I found out that the same organization who tortured Venti were those that indirectly killed Teppei and Kazuha’s friend among many others.
The fatui started the vision hunt decree and consequently the war through misinformation campaigns to the shogunate in order to bring chaos and dependency towards their delusions.
So while I agree that Raiden Shogun is still bad, her murders during the period were not entirely hers; but of the fatui, as the ignorant are not the real murderers, but the mastermind.
So yeah, Signora’s death, in my eyes, became the reason why
I forgave the Raiden Shogun and to this day I run both her and Kazuha (main team) whenever I explore in Inazuma and Enkanomiya.
Though Raiden knew everything the Fatui was doing and said "They don't interfere with my eternity" basically allowing the unnecessary civil war to go on as it did. Tomo's death (Kazuha's friend) was one of the only fair things she did as he did lose fair and square to Sara.
The Fatui may have started the war and the Vision Hunt Decree, but the Raiden Shogun could've prevented her own people from dying for naught. How was the people's death part of eternity? How was everyone on Yashiori island, children and bystanding villagers okay to be trampled on during the war? Barely any of them had enough "individual ambition" to deserve such treatment, did they?
I love Ei as a character and i enjoyed the Archon and story quest, but looking back at it all, it really was all a dumb childish act she pulled and got away with barely a slap on the wrist. "No one will lose their lives by losing a Vision" yet people lose their lives regardless whether over ambitious or not. Over issues that may not affect her ideal of eternity, but still should've been seen as important like, her nation was essentially wiping itself out *because* of the foreigners she allowed to co-rule discreetly with her government. Why even bother with the Sakoku Decree?
(Sorry i got on a little rant, i just wish the story was longer to allow deeper moments like this resolved not through an ending cutscene as short as what we got)

Ei's massive crimes against Inazuma: sealing her people off, starving them from fishing ban, taking their visions away (coward because vision holders could overthrow her and become gods), knowing about the civil war and the deaths Signora's delusions had caused, attacking Sara who thought Ei was innocent (surprised Sara never told the clans), lying to the clans about being innocent and tricked by the fatui to keep herself in their good graces (she told us she knew everything in the other dimension and just didn't care for human life, and than finally admitted she was wrong and only apologized to the traveler thus far in her story quest...when she needs to come clean to all of Inazuma). Seriously, Ei was worse than Decarabian, and he died for his crimes against Mondstadt.The only reason Ei is getting away with this is because she is hot. Total BS... Not to mention she is the worst mother in Teyvat. Abandoning her sentient son because she was too much of a baby herself. Didn't even want to stick around to govern her own nation, let alone raise new life. And she was so much of an idiot that she made the Raiden Shogun follow specific parameters and to be un hackable. So now that she has changed her mind, the Shogun views Ei as a threat to her programmed eternity. Cue the 2.5 boss fight~

@@riatanina thank you! Everyone thinks she's like best waifu and ignore all that bad shit she did. Like her character quest when we ran around showing her books and taking a picture of her. I was sitting here like wtf are you serious, she has hurt so many people. That's why I personally don't like her, at least Signora and Childe are treated like the bad guys while Raiden or Ei isn't.
