Very easy drafting. Excellent explanation! But I think you should have stitched the main fabric right sides facing and the linings too so that you hide the seam from showing. It would look more designer finished. My 3 cents concern. Otherwise great job. I am a designer from Kenya following you 😍
I curious i did my drafting same as this before but i stiff the main material and use the lining to turn it but i didn't get this effect, i added zip allowance to the back
Measure the circumference of the waist, divided by the number of panels you want to create... remember to add 1/2" seam allowance on each side of the panel that you'll join with..
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I am making one now, as a beginner, the interfacing that I use , I don’t know it’s not folding like yours. Secondly, are you not supposed to top stitch the bottom part and lastly are you not supposed to add seam allowance on the waist line. Please your help is urgently needed. May God bless you as you help me. This is time sensitive please and thank you so much.
It wud have been better had u used a light colored fabric.its so difficult to make out on the black fabric but a lovely well made mermaid skirt though. Mam cud u pls do a maxi box pleated skirt video?
Nice. If you had joined the outer pannels at the sides and then the inner pannels same way. Then joined the two circles at he bottem hem there would have been no raw edges inside the skirt near your legs.
@@TresorTS please ma'am what is the best stiffening material to add, that would not be damaged by washing and would still be firm, even after years of use?
Wow that’s very beautiful and I love all your tutorials you are very blessed . Can you plz make a tutorial of ladies blazer/jacket with a collar please
1 and half that I took out was half of the 3 inches that I need for each of the panels on the knee. My knee circumference measurement is 36” and if I divide that in 12 panels, it gives me 3”. So on fold, that will be one and half. Hope that is clearer.
Absolutely beautiful. I like how you explain and that you dont talk too much making the video boring. You are a queen 💕💕
Many thanks for your kind feedback.

Thank you so much madam,,, l made my cone panelled, but it came out straight(i.e no folding in between the panels)
What is the name of fabric which you used instead of bukram plz tell if someone knows
I like what you do in using a material for stiffining its not that hard and its manageable.
Yes buckram stiffener is too hard and could get soft when you wash or dry clean it.
@@TresorTS please ma'am what is the best stiffening material to add, that would not be damaged by washing and would still be firm, even after years of use?
Ma was there printed y joining it wit d half length
HARD TO UNDERSTAND..BUT I LOVE TO WATCH

Great job
Hello. Do you mind explaining how you cleaned up the the raw edges after connecting the panels all together
You can either use bias tape the bind the edges or add an underlining.
House of Tresor Academy thank you so much 🤗
Would you recommend using an overlock/serger on those skirt seams?
Yes you could.
Very good mam..👍🏻👍🏻
