    Nice video. Thanks for showing how crappy my day was. Fun spot though! Agree on missing the morning bite. Caught my last one on a buzzbait before I had to leave.

      @@mattcollinsfishing yeah, even though I didn’t do as well as I wanted it was still a fun day. We definitely should go back in the fall when they are a little more active.

    So with all the switching you did in the early goings, do have a certain number of throws or number of minutes before you make the switch or is it totally a gut feeling? Tough tourney but #5 ain't so bad. Nice ending with the birds flying off.

      It’s mostly a gut feeling with the switching of the baits. I’ll usually give them at least 5-10 minutes, but if I’m not getting bit throwing them in spots that I feel like there should be a fish, I’ll start to lose confidence in them pretty quickly. And yeah, 5th place was much better than I expected to finish.
