    The oil was in great shape! I changed just my filter earlier this year on my wife's SUV. The guys I did it thought I needed to and I said no way. It still was very clean with 5,000 miles. I was using a wiks filter then, changed to the AMS OIL FILTER. I'm a believer in the product.

    If she puts a oil canister on the pcv to the intake manifold the oil that passes the canister will catch it and not go intake manifold and go passed the rings too. I was having blow by under pressure down hill at 5 gear and had to throw it in neutral and if I didn't there would be smoke out of the tail pipe. But since I put that oil canister I don't have that problem anymore 😊 just saying? 2005 Toyota matrix xr 1.8 5-speed it's not Burning it . It was going thru the pcv hose into my intake going into my valves and firing chamber and out the tail pipe. No more problems 😊

      You want to take it to a garage that recycles it if there's not that in your area you can also take it to your local recycling refinery usually they have very short hours in the day but you may be able to just drop it off there👍

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  Месяц назад

      Yes depending on the car you can rinse it out and take it off summer bolted down where you can't get to it so when you do the drain and fill it automatically cleans it it depends on the vehicle.
      We have a whole playlist on radiator fluid changes on the main homepage definitely recommend checking it out depending on your vehicle.

    you forget about how to bleed air out of your car cooling system

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  4 года назад +4

      Some of them you have to squeeze and bleed others all you have to do is do a drain and fill and self bleeding this one I believe is self bleeding so when you pour it in it will automatically circulate

    • @JRec-ql5fc
      @JRec-ql5fc 2 года назад +1

      @@Syntheticoilprotection If you’re using distilled water to flush out the rest of the radiator do you need to add extra undiluted client due to the fact that there is some water in the system?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  2 года назад

      Well it just depends on your ratio so at the end of the day you want to make sure you add what's appropriate like the low toxicity biodegradable coolant concentrate which I usually run about 33% concentrate on my car because I live here in Las Vegas If you live somewhere really cold you want to run at least 50% concentrate so you're good down to negative 30° F below zero

    • @L3TLIFEBee
      @L3TLIFEBee 2 года назад +2

      Do these Generation Corolla’s require for the air to be bleed out after a drain and re fill?
      I drained and re filled like it shows on this video, then my car was idling bad. That stopped then my heater wasn’t working. And I drove it around some more and now my car blows heat and cold air with no weird things.
      I believe this car does bleed the air out by itself? Is there air in my system after a drain and re fill?
      Thanks much

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  2 года назад +1

      Yes sometimes that can happen if you don't turn the heater core on high and get it to circulate that's normal all you want to do is turn the heater on high and refill it once the thermostat opens it will suck it through.
      Sometimes you can massage the hoses and it will allow it to burp the system

  • @mattcongiusta
    @mattcongiusta 2 года назад +1

    Why is low toxicity better other than fact it’s safe for animals .? Does it last longer or cool better
    Plus the dominator coolant add on does it last as long as the coolant 5 years ?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  2 года назад

      Great questions the low toxicity I like a lot better because you have the ability to mix it to the ratio you want because it's a concentrate the other nice thing is it meets and exceeds the 18-wheeler specifications which are the hardest to meet Cummins pack card John Deere Freightliner and the Turbo diesels run the hottest and it also has a special quality to it that doesn't allow pitting of the aluminum cavity inside the coolant where the coolant flows so you have a lot of extra protection with your pumps water pumps gaskets Etc.
      As far as the Dominator coolant boost that is a tri-tiered surfactant technology it wears off in about 1 year or 30,000 miles whichever comes first so if you want to keep its efficiency you want to replenish the system.
      What I do is I add a little bit throughout the year just to keep the system at tip top shape.

  • @Norman31chea

    • @Syntheticoilprotection

      I would double check the lookup guide also I recommend the 6-month PC membership if you're new to Amsoil you would want to definitely check your coolant capacity also you want to think about the ratio you want to run depending on your running environment
