The 2-0 lead was ridiculously lucky. Douche is absolutely kidding himself if he thinks we were doing well until Villa scored. Last ditch defending and hacking the ball 60 yards while camping on your own 18 yard line is not a recipe for success. Especially with Keane and Young in the team.
No we shouldn't be worried. We will start putting results together soon. The one problem we have are our full backs though. How Dyche hasnt gone out and got a right back and a left back is beyond me. When fit our fbs arent good enough......and they arent fit!!!

@@pearcegreatesteverleftback03 He kept the second highest amount of clean sheets last season with 13, the highest out of the other English GK's in 2023/24. That's why he was in the England squad. If he had a better defence in front of him that number would be even higher, and let's not forget where Everton finished last season.

I've been saying it for a long time now. You're eventually going to get relegated if your main go-to guy for goals is Dominic Calvert-Lewin. If you play a more direct style, you need a goal scorer.

Of course Everton should be worried, I know it's early but they are bottom of the league with zero points and have blown multiple leads already. They have a shaky goalkeeper, a leaky defence and inconsistent scoring. They have also just avoided relegation for the past few seasons so it's not like this form is out of the blue for them. I'm not saying they will definitely be relegated but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a long season.
