Děkuji za recept. Před mnoha lety nám to přivezla babička a děda z dovolené v Gruzii .
Thank you so much. We will try to do it in Ukraine)
We have a walnut Tree and lots of Plums...I will make them from Plumjuice in Germany. But I tried and loved them VERY much, when I got some original and handmade from a georgian friend. :)
hey bist du deutsche/r ?
@@chillingjonas497 Ne, aber ich lebe in Deutschland. :)
My boss brought for us at the work place and they were yummy, i have to try it out...
It’s really yummy. 🙏🌺
I made Churchkhelas yesterday using your recipe. For some reason, the coating cracked on mine? Do you know what could have caused that?
Sometimes cracking happen if you dry churchkela under direct sun. Maybe this is the reason.
Which flour is this?
Hi thanks for your video. Do you use raw walnuts or roasted?
Just raw walnuts. You will like it! Enjoy 😉
Bought one today and was delicious but expensive... wanted to try making it. Does grape juice have to be 100%?
No, with any juice you can make them. Traditionally in Georgia they been making from real homemade grape juice but now you can find them different colours, as they made from different fruit and vegetable juices. 😉
Hi, how much flour?
For 1 liter of Grapes juice you need 150 gram of flour.
thank you
I would like to make and taste this , but I don't get why none of the churchkhela makers or sellers cover it as it dries or even after cos wont it attract dust and dirt and insects etc...
Hi Shana, I completely understand your points, but can not answer on your question. If you make churchkhela yourself then you safe them as you like. Thanks for your comment.
I agree and always tell them to cover them, but it still is a problem.

I don't know why they call it Georgian.this is 100% Turkish I remember 55 years ago when my parents boil the grape and make me dip wall nut or hazelnut into it .give's you very good energy especially in the winter.
No, you're wrong. It always georgian food. I don't want to sound offensive , but turks take many tradions, food and etc. from countries, they occupied. ( Sorry for my english , It's not my native language).
My Georgian friend brought me some of this from her hometown, self-made. They might have it in Turkey too, but it is definitely also Georgian.
