The movie was made by a group of people who left Disney due to working conditions and decided to produce this movie despite the success of Disney at that time. They released Anastasia at the same time as Hercules and the lion King which was SUCH A BOLD MOVE and I am forever impressed by the team. They filmed parts of the movie if not all of the movie in live action to reference for the animation which is why it's so smooth I love this movie so much 😭
The subtle parter on the gold fabric, the pearls on the sleeves, the everything-- this is so beautiful! I can't imagine what couldve been done better, we are always way harsher to ourselves than any observer would be
