Nigo, as far as I see it, was smart enough to create a brand that capitalized on Japans reverence of american (hip hop) street culture.... Genius! Thus payed back, as a rarity from the american eye. Because anything from japan is "lit," anything form a Japanese eye is golden! and time just makes everything stand out as original! Got everybody amped after this... "streetwear" brands left and right after this (California perspective). Cats love bape, some try to talk down on bape or try and X it out, and don't even know the half! Its indubitable for a reason!
