  • Hello Brand Lovers
It has been one month since Russia declares war on Ukraine; and in this russia and Ukraine war, USA and other western countries have imposed economic sanction on Russia. All global brands are present in Russia and interestingly most of these brands are from USA ,UK and other western countries. Therefore, this time, these brands have also indirectly participated in the war by stopping their business temporarily.
We will not go to any pros and cons of this economic sanctions but definitely the decisions of these global brands will have impact in thei economy. For example, McDonalds in Russia have 62,000 employees and just think how long they can stop business and give full salaries of people. Uniqlo wanted to continue their business but their brand survey has made them change their decision.
So you will find how powerful brands can also play their role if they want and this time, it is not ‘ how brands expect us to react’, rather ‘how brands react’.
    Happy Branding!
