My Vendetta I kept the stock esc and motor so far. Then put a 44T w/ slipper eliminated. Then I put a 32T pinion, still Mod08 gearing. Alloy Hot Racing Driveshaft. Then I modified the front arrma shocks, I put two rubber servo bushings onto the shock plunger inside, to lower the front end down. Then added just a little bit of shock oil. The front end sits just a finger width high now high…I managed 87mph on 3s but I keep hitting LVC because the gearing on the stock 100amp don’t like it too much. I’m debating on either a Xerun Hobbywing Esc and motor or going with a Spektrum 160amo and 4268 motor. Will see though. My vendetta also has carbon splitter front side and rear with a bat rear wing. Helps a lot for aero.
@@rcbeast101 I am super new to RC also. The vendetta is just my 2nd car I ever owned and my first being a Tamiya TT02 I managed to get to 98 mph. I put a 80AMP Esc, 3s CNHL 5200mah 80C batteries. 34T pinion with a 46T Spur. I hit the 98moh back to back 3 times. Now I have not been able to replicate it or beat that with that car. The last run, cracked the diff housing on the front diff. I had to buy another bath chassis and I transferred everything over, then installed all metal diff covers. But now that car is so pretty and so tight and clean looking. I don’t want to mess it up anymore. Hahaaa. The vendetta, my goal is to hit 120 ish on stick esc & motor. I think I can do it. Then it’ll be into the crazy power upgrades.
On sale for 295$ from horizon right now. I bought one today because it was a good deal. They’re more affordable to run anyways, my felony has been sitting most of the summer because 100$ a pop for tires every time I take it out is crazy. 1/8 Arrma 46$ a set and I get two or three ripping days on them vs the 1/7 scale. My mojave isn’t too bad since it’s off road but on road 1/7 just feels like wasting money regardless of wether you can afford it.
My brother first of all let me tell you beautiful video second of all that burn out was super unnecessary all you’re doing is putting unneeded strain on your electronics and adding heat to the system that does it need to be there your tires will warm up while driving trust me I know keep fighting the good fight my dude🤙🏻🤙🏻
I got the 2s-4s esc from hobby wing i got the combo that comes with the motor. 61 mph was my max speed with the regular pinion im going to put the speed pinion this weekend ezrun4000kv and ezrun max 10 140amp esc i was not impressed with 61 I thought i would get at least 65-70 with 3s
Wicked Philly💯👌🏿 sort them brakes put them higher for sure on the esc n calibrate remote again That’s what’s Up G🫡 You came with two shows in one🥳 Nice of you to share
Thats weird i got 68 mph with a powerhobby 7600mah 75c battery. I raised the front of my body and tuned the suspension to stop the scraping noise and i have the speed wing on. I did see you were using dboot hoons thats probably why they dont balloon like the stock tires. When they balloon you get a little more speed.
Sounds like your body hitting the tires .

Sounds like a beast. That 160 esc will be a menace. And it can take that higher gears.

Uhm, did you try 4S, 5600 120C on your first Hobby wing ESC?
Is it safe to put a 6 s esc and run it on 4 s stock gearing and motor will i see some changes
I wouldn't put 6s in it. But some people have put 6s in it but you have to upgrade the diffs and the drive shaft.
Morning brother how it going nice video love arrma 3s power she very fast 70mph easily
Change spool gear to 44 and pinion to 32 and she will do 93mph+ you will have cut outs though with spektrum equipment
Wicked Philly💯👌🏿 sort them brakes put them higher for sure on the esc n calibrate remote again

I think the speed pinion that comes with is 26T. And bro.... dem brakes!!! Ankle killer all day!!!
I fixed the brakes forgot to program the esc . Doing another speed run soon.

The esc was going bad so I put back to 3s. I didn't understand at first I should have hit 75+ on that set up.
What gearing you running
You probably need to recalibrate the remote and turn your throttle all the way up
Factor 20th pinion and Factor slipper
Change your wing to the flat one and remove rear diffuser should get more out of it work for me
Yeah philly 👍🏿
Thanks
I got a 32 gear on mines gonna do a 3s run soon 88 on 6s stock motor with 20t mmx esc on was 88 at 45% epa I gotta get new tires
Nice
What pinion gear you're running 20t
Yes 20t but it's not running at full potential.
@@rcbeast101 OK cool more speeds to come bro 👌💪
Yeah bro it should've went faster with 4s 👍🏾
I know it should have did 80+
Good vid, shame about that body - plain ugly especially with the wheel well vents.
