I hate how these types of movies always cast a classic beauty as the "ugly" girl and then give her a makeover to something more modern and suddenly people notice her. Its shallow and frustrating 🙁
She wasn't even ugly to begin with. Probably not as interesting to look at, at first glance, but really pretty when you take a closer look. She just needed someone to take her out of her comfort zone for a bit.
