Thanks for all the information. I was wondering if on a counter if the Accum value can be changed with a math function. Trying to keep the value below 30000 without stoping the equipment.
Yes, I'm kind of surprised that I have never done a video on this. I'm guessing that you are working with a Micrologix of SLC PLC that can only count to 32767. Add a second counter. If the first counter is greater than 30000, count on the 2nd counter then MOV 0 to the accumulated value of the first counter.
Actually we are using a Logix 5582E processor. I’m new to Studio 5000 so I’m trying to teach an old dog new tricks.
The same principle should work.
Thank you for All you do....
You are so welcome
One question Tim since Spain, in the new rslogix version I can program in scl, I proved to program in older version an a lot of function can't be program in this language.
The SCL is only available in Function Block and Structured Text, not Ladder Logic
@@TimWilborne I want to say Structured text, I think this Languages is more powerful, but in rslogix, I think, i tried with v23, It was rather difficult ti program to me in this way, I think all options of ladder aren't in Structured text.
ST and FB have more instructions available, but there are a few that only ladder have. For the most part, it is because there is a better instruction available in the other two.
U live, oh my God ❤...😊
I have a question for you., Is there a way To run a sequencer backwards? Thanks in advance.
Yes, almost if not all of the methods that we should in the video below could be a countdown sequence.
