then the other commentator will drop non sense comments like "i dont like his choice" lol 😂 so hard to watch the game with him commentating (not Clayton of course, the other guy)
@@rcv1234 @eme981 He is Vital Heynen if you don't have any idea. Former Perugia and Poland men's head coach. He's a champion coach so he have the right to say.
i understand that people dont like the realistic commentating from a high level person, but everything he said was correct. That being said its probably not appropriate to have him haha.
That’s the thing though, not everything he says is correct. After Porro's block at 8:12, he claimed that Chinenyeze made a mistake because he apparently only hit straight back and didn’t turn his body to create an angle. However, in the replay (which unfortunately is not shown in this clip), you could see that Chinenyeze was very much turning and trying to create an angle to his left. It was simply a phenomenal read by Porro and a great block, especially considering he is only 1.83m tall, and there was no way past for Chinenyeze. It would be nice if a play like this would get the proper recognition.
@@hoverchild He was still correct though and in no way tried to discredit Porro's block. Besides, Clayton already enthusiastically and energetically complemented Porro so there was no way he could've echoed what Clayton had said as most game analysts would do. Instead, they would explain why Chinenyeze failed to get the point. He just told us what Chinenyeze could've done seeing Chinenyeze just didn't try hard to angle his attack because you know that Middle Blockers tend to bury the ball when given that opportunity but saldy he failed. We never heard from the telecast but I was sure, Chinenyeze got an earful from Lube's coach after that point.
He could've done it w/o sounding annoyed or surprised in a 'How could he not do this 😨' fashion. I don't mind critical analysts, but his tone could've been better
@@hoverchild Rewatched this again. Dude totally overdid it with the criticism. At 8:29 for instance, very sensible decision to stay patient. Does he have to complaint abt every single little thing? The freeball was definitely not right on the net, and everyone stayed back to get ready for a deep ball. It's not the same as an overpass where everyone is right at the net and ready to pounce
Fellow volleyball enthusiasts, I think you are just misunderstanding what Coach Heynen's role was. He was not a commentator, that was Clayton's. He was the game analyst and he was really doing what a game analyst should do - do in-game analysis. It may seem like a complain or just blabbering BS but if you listen attentively he really was just giving useful insights like why did the play becomes succesful, how can a botch pass be still converted into a point, and what should've been done for a failed play.
I get your point. However, there were plenty of cases where he didn’t, as you just said, analyse the game from an expert's perspective, but rather just stated how he would have liked the point to be played. Examples from this clip include 8:32 (Loser is in fact perfectly in time for the first tempo) and 8:44 (why would you criticize Porro for the serve here? It’s a pretty good serve to start with, and it also could be a tactical choice to not go absolute 100% but to make Civitanova play it and maybe make the error). Also, if I watch a match like this with commentary, I want to be entertained, I'm not signing up for a coaching session. I'm happy about neutral insights that help me understand what is happening, but Clayton Lucas has more than enough expertise himself to provide them in additional to his entertaining commentary.
Daming hanas kay Vital Heynen, his an ANALYST not just a commentator, at the same time he's a winning coach so he has all the right to say about the game. PS. sanay kasi kayo sa UAAP style na commentators na puro papuri ang mga sinasabi. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
@@Lumiere20 He'll be in the lineup for sure, but there's no guarantee that he'll be chosen as main setter or even second setter because there are Gianelli and Sbertoli who has more experience. I do wish to see him in some game tho, he has been great since in junior teams and he is growing a lot since then.
the one commentator is unbearable… he’s just complaining about misplays all the time. Go sit on the bench if you’re going to coach, commentate the game if you ain’t…
i'm glad i'm not the only who felt this way. since the game 2 playoff, he had been talking non stop and at times, unrelated topics. i was hoping not to hear his voice last night. i couldn't concentrate on watching the games (with him as a commentator) at all that i had to mute the sound.
Yeah it was just so annoying listening to him start to complain about something even after good plays, a commentator shouldn‘t complain all the time because I‘m sure that he couldn‘t do whatever he asks from the players
i feel .. a commentator should remain neutral but he went too far by talking/ complaining nonstop through out the matches where i felt there's no peace. imagine paying for a service only to hear someone whined for 2 hours+ for the last 2 games. 🤦♀. maybe i should pray not to hear his voice anymore in game 4.
Dear Volleyball World Team, can you PLEASE get rid of that additional commentator you brought in?? Not Clayton Lucas of course, he is good as always, but that other guy takes away so much of the joy of watching the games. He talks all the time about what he likes or doesn’t like to see, doesn’t show emotion (like Lucas does brilliantly), and tries to be clever by anticipating plays that then just don’t happen. He might be a good coach or whatever, but as a commentator he is unbearable, especially because some of the stuff he says is just complete BS.
This team really takes down a power team with speed and defense. Hoping this momentum continues and wins the 🏆
Milan`s setter did the game!
Milano's setter did great in orchestrating their offense. 4 players were on double digit.
