- The open-class - greater than 1,000cc - superbike is considered the absolute pinnacle of production motorcycles. This is the class where capability, technology and performance are usually at their maximum. These are truly the motorcycles we dream of. Today, at the top of that pinnacle sits one motorcycle. When Ducati decided to switch up from their revered twin-cylinder superbike line, they decided that it was time to up the stakes. Liberal additions of magnesium were brought in for lightness. And then the most sophisticated electronics package that Ducati could dream up was added. Omg this is the first time I am watching this video and I came down here to write the same thing. The dialogues are so top notch, don’t feel cringy at all. The delivery of the hosts, and the insane insane production quality, I don’t know how this video has *only* 1.5m views. That’s criminal.

Not really sure about that. I love Powerdrift for the fun content but they are nothing more than glorified advertisements. You can count on your fingers, out of hundreds of bikes they've reviewed, the number of bikes they are critical of.

Now.. That is a properly menacing looking motorcycle. It just oozes attitude. Hats off to the design team. I have always believed that form should always follow function. But after looking at the V4, I don't care if it has any function. I just want to stare at it. I am absolutely amazed at how simple yet stunning it is to look at. I'm so jealous that you guys get to spend time with it and i can't. And the way Schumi was looking at it I'm sure he wants to spend more time with it alone, behind the cameras..

Every time I look at the creativity, I get amazed.
And this is the best video till date I feel.
Three days back I checked V4R at the showroom in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The only reason people here back out, THE FREAKING PRICE TAG. It was $41,000 and people don't want to sell their kidneys. lol..
And buying is not the end of story. Then comes maintenance. No one got third kidney... :P
That might be the reason I never find a single Panigale hitting tight corners scratching knees from our 5000+ motorcycle group (Charlotte Sportbike Network) when we go for mountain twists.
Jokes apart, I won't consider buying either Ducati or Aprilia only because-
1. Sounds more like generator.
2. Maintenance
3. No practical use of that much of power.
Anyways, wish all the best to those who are buying this fancy toy. :)

That introductory prologue and the best cinematography - videography with moments of sound effects that gives you the feeling that a hero is rising on two wheels were phenomenal. The most mind - bending turn was then, when we actually got to see the Aprilia in the scene that completed as an epilogue to the whole story.

Speaking of shots, the people who shoot this, the angles they take, the amount of time it takes them to get that one perfect shot.
