@@agam8112 no well you click on backup and find how old it is if it’s like 6/8 months then you can delete nothing happends also tell me how old your backup is
@@JigxorTutorials after some research I found the issue. It seems that I had 20gb in the waiting to be deleted bin. Who knew that after deleting something it stores the files for 30 days.
I followed along, deleted and turned off and don't see a reduction in my storage. I have no idea what isn't happening since most stuff is turned off. All I care about it the photos working in Photo Stream to my Mac and my contacts being backed up. 90% of the storage is being sucked up under "Backups" not the photos so I don't get it... :(
"Upgrade your plan"? 🤣 I'm sorry, but that seems to be Apple's game... make it impossible to download the cloud to a storage device easily so you'll be compelled to pay more!
Open iCloud from the Settings app (iOS) or System Preferences app to delete these files (MacOS). Then, click or tap Manage Backups to see a list of all backups saved to your iCloud account. Delete the ones you don't need and you'll instantly gain storage space.
Most of my storage is being taken up in Backups not Photos, so looks like I'll have to delete some really, really old files AND E-MAILS that I haven't used on many years, right?
My iCloud doesn’t have that when I go to my name then ICloud then photos it just shows sync to iPhone please help me my iCloud is one skinny line from being full
Try updating your iOS to the latest version and do a force restart afterwards. Once done, go back to Settings -> your name -> iCloud -> Manage Account Storage -> Photos. The option to Turn Off & Delete (this is for iOS 16 and later versions which should be your iOS version once done updating) should be available for you.
I just downloaded google photos and transferred all photos and videos to it, then deleted everything off my iCloud. Now I got space

Nice video of the day.
Why are Apple menus so randomly dumb? I've had an iPhone for a couple of months and I hate this stupid thing, its practically unusable.
Omg no one cares what the cloud is we just wanna know how to free up storage .
