This kind of slam and brake behavior happens with some people but it's not common at all, maybe you could try to reset soft/hard or wait V11 or maybe hardware issue.. Strange behavior! Thanks for sharing
It was very strange, and definitely doesn’t behave like this often. Almost like code got down a bad path and was stuck doing something it shouldn’t. A little while later and it was fine.
Good to see how buggy it is outside of California where there are not too many FSD cars around learning. Seems to perform really badly in Europe as well since again much fewer cars to learn from. Hopefully with more Teslas in Canada it will improve. You said FSD for the current price is not worth it, would you say Enhanced Autopilot is worth it at much lower price?
Yeah, definitely should get better. Some drives are just fine, with minimal interventions. The only feature that I really like, when it’s working 😂, is changing lanes with the signal stalk. Letting Autopilot make the lane changing decisions still doesn’t work. I would say that feature should be free if other companies include it. Maybe a thousand dollars type feature at most.
Just an idea for a future video. I’m wondering about how the vehicle self parks. Yes there isn’t a lot of actual videos especially in Canada about how the vehicle self parks parallel or perpendicular. It’s something we do all the time and I’m wondering if people actually use the feature or how useful is it. Does it simply have problems with parking over all or is it just slow. This is especially interesting since the vehicle now relies on camera only supposedly. I think it would be a really good idea to cover this topic just because it’s a feature that in theory should be used lots. This would also be very interesting and how it does in Calgary. For somebody buying a vehicle this is such a useful feature, why is nobody talking about? Are people actually using it?

Unfortunately it doesn’t work. AT ALL. Right now at least. Will see in V11 if it works again 🤷♂️
@@RockyMountainTesla Idea for when it works again.
Definitely!
