Great subjects, you can get so much milage out of buildings, cars, and landscaping like that- no two photographers see them exactly the same way. The picture of the '92 Lumina was phenomenal, keep up the good work ;3
Dude what! This channel is amazing. Super good quality, chill music, great pics. Makes me want to grab the Yashica Electro I'm watching on Ebay right now haha
I loooove the photos of the white walls and the snow, also the ice on the cars too. I bought this camera yesterday and this video makes me want to take my own photos right noww
Hey there!! First time to see your channel - I am watching a lot of videos about this camera right now! I do have this camera, have had it for about 15 years, but have had it packed away with the Yashica 1-C and a bunch of other vintage cameras for a few years....I have pulled them all out of their bags and getting ready to photograph my collection and make a video about them. I can't wait to shoot another roll of film in this camera. I have recently ordered some different lomo films! I remember being so exstatic when I got it, the lens is pretty awesome! I did enjoy your video and the photo shoot! I think my fave is the lone tree !
the ones with the icicles hanging off the cars have got to be my fav! i just know if i’d been there, i would’ve taken a full roll’s worth just exploring the icicles !
I think your photos looked amazing. They have a vibe like "the first color films" if you know what I mean. I guess that matches this camera perfectly. I have just bought one of these cameras, Portra looks great btw.
I just picked up a YASHICA TL-E & I cannot find a single video on it I’m kind of winging it at this point- this is the only video close to what I needed to know just of course the build is slightly different (due to it being a different model)..
I just got my Electro back from being CLA’d by Mark Hama, he included a PC164/TR164A battery on the return trip. Haven’t gotten any negs back to see how accurate the meter is, but I’m inclined to trust Mark’s judgement considering he worked in the factory. Hopefully this helps!
I got my battery on Amazon. There’s some adapters on there too. If you want some recommendations, look up some options on reddit. They’ll be able to give you links and everything to what you’re looking for :)
What was your favorite photo and why? Let me know below!! 🙌🏽
Photo at 3:40 maybe because we don't have this cold weather here in Queensland. (grey background would be better}
the second photo was lovely! and my fav btw

What i wanted to know is if when you’ll need to adjust your aperture?
Thank you.
what aperture do you use to take a photo in this videos?
It all depended on what the light meter told me to use
