Adding to the references to songs in the brawlers lines, Doug also has a Milkshake reference with “my milkshake brings all the kids to the pool” and Kit has a line where he says “Let’s get physical, physical” which I believe is a reference to Olivia Newton-John’s 1981 song Physical. No clue why he says this but it’s pretty obviously a reference.
Janet also has a voice line where she says 'Fly me to the moon', pretty sure the reference there is obvious

Major Rosa is actually a reference to Cammy from Street Fighter since she came out during the gaming/fighting season with Fang. She also just shares many similarities with Cammy and they used multiple other retro game references during the season.
there’s actually Indian mythology references in the brother and supreme bo, vanaara frank, and dasis grom skins. they are all based off of the Ramayana, referencing lakshmana, Rama, hanuman, and ravana

Byron's name likely comes from a man named "Lord Byron" in the actual Frankenstein novel. Lord Byron also happens to be an alchemist.
The green and purple color variant for Edgar's Mecha Skin is a reference to the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Toon Spike's art style is meant to look like the art style from the Powerpuff Girls.

Actually I think the Edgar mecha skins are referencing to the EVA units in Neon Genesis Evangelion. Their names are also in favour of this theory , because they end in 00, 01 etc, like the EVA units. The colours of the skins also reference Evangelion
