Good points. Obviously CP3 and Barnes upgrade our front court pretty significantly, but something I also haven’t heard a lot about is how much of an upgrade our bench has gotten by adding these 2 guys. Now we have Tre Jones as our backup PG as well as Kelton Johnson. Both of those guys were never quite starting caliber, but coming off the bench they will be much better than our bench was last year.
Well I just found that the Spurs acquired a 2031 pick swap from the Harrison Barnes trade. Brian Wright keeps amazing me, I don't see how you could say anything negative about him since he replaced R.C. Buford, wether you like his strategy or not he's executing it to perfection.
Brian Wright is on the money. I didnt like the CP3 move early but man have they made us better without mortgaging the future (actually we improved our future picks haul) and can still move the assets for a bonafide star. low risk, alll reward unless Dillingham becomes Allen Iverson all of a sudden
Chris Paul will only stay the entire year with the Spurs if they are competitive. If they don't look like they're going to be at least a play-in team, they move him at the trade deadline.
He’s wheeling and dealing and making great deals, but I’m not totally onboard with his talent evaluating. I think between now and next year’s draft we’ll have a better idea of what the team is going to look like moving forward.
They Spurs should have drafted Edey at 8 to go along side Wemby both are young twin towers could have been a force He would have been a good risk at center, there's not many good ones now
No matter what anyone says, or what era we are in, New Balance are ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS DAD SHOES!! Being impressed and thinking it is cool that there is a WHISTLE ON YOUR SHOE is TOTALLY a DAD thing, LOL!!!
Depends on what we do next year. And that's what this is all about. We're trying to be competitive but not too competitive so we can take those drop picks and build our team out completely. People who keep grumbling about draft picks don't know how that NBA is being run NOW: The CBA Has changed how people work now And it's gonna take at least another year or two what we can do what we can't.
I think they are trying to win now. The good thing is that we have draft capital. So no matter what happens we can still get another good player on the 2025 draft.

25 draft is pretty good. We could get 2 long term players.
Pop told CP3 to be himself
