@@IzzyKDoodles It entirely depends on how good you are with shade cloak. If you had shade cloak for a while (like I did) and got used to using it then the fight will have been easy. If you got it then rushed straight to traitor lord you will have struggled.

I spent hours trying to kill it
Funny story about my Traitor Lord fight, died several times against him, even with Cloth's aid. However, after a really good attempt, I left the bench room and the Godhome badge symbol popped up, like I beat the boss. I think that when I died in that last attempt, Cloth got the final blow on him, killing him at the sacrifice of my own life. Now there is an alternate universe where Cloth is running around and protecting Dirtmouth instead of me.

that's right, the whole queen garden area is just like a rose: the atmposphere and the music are beautiful, but the rooms seek dangerous enemies and platforms

I really love how elegant and majestic this one sounds, one of my favorite pieces of music in this game. The choir combined with the recurring harp and the ringing sound are *chef's kiss*. And especially how the music takes a slightly darker and quieter tone towards the end, it makes it sound rather sorrowful (which does fit considering the whole circumstances of Hallownest and the White Lady's regret about her past actions.)
Christopher Larkin made a fantastic job with the whole soundtrack really.

The area is a love child of Greenpath, White Palace and Crystal Peaks but the theme is just amazing. So peaceful, yet lively.
My absolute favourite theme in the whole videogame. I can't explain what this piece makes me feel. The decoration, the background, the fauna, the lore, the story buried in the depths of Hallownest... everything is made up for when you come here, this theme just hit me right in the heart.
I accidentally read "My absolute favorite theme is the whole video game" and that is pretty accurate too

If you have made it this far into the game, you already know you're going to have to work for it cuz the enemies aren't pushovers anymore.
To be honest, at the time that you're expected to visit most other areas many enemies ain't easy
Just look at Crystal Peak or something like that

Greenpath but with more vines and platforms
Something kinda cool that I just realized in my most recent playthrough is that both the King’s and Queen’s areas are focused on more challenging platforming, with both areas having a crap ton of thorns, some sort of small spherical flying enemy, a boss or mini boss that takes two masks of damage and can shoot a disk like projectile, and there’s some mechanical mechanisms that make the platforming really frickin annoying.
This one is by far my favorite. Love it, love it, love it!!!!
I haven't finished this zone yet, so I dont have the whole picture about the background in this theme. But still, I cant help to just admire how beautiful is, how it just sets me to flow and feel so cautivated, this game truly makes me happy.
*When you first find this place basically ROYAL GREENPATH and here this song you get chills! Especially when the areas like a small area have a dead thing with the love key and you find it there’s amazing detail in this game despite me not liking it very much! On top of that they knew how to design the background and the foreground (the ground you walk on!)*
Reminds me of when I kept ruining the delicate flower quest in this area, finally beating it, then suddenly realizing I had Sharp Shadow equipped the entire time
(I had cleared a path and avoided benches/swapping charms around to prevent resetting enemy spawns and I somehow completely forgot to check what charms I actually had beforehand)
I don't know why this still plays during Traitor Lord, at least give them a variation of the Mantis Lords theme

Now that I think about it, this seems to me like the Phazon Mines of Hollow Knight. Both are examples of That One Level, feature awkward platforming, feature gangs of tough enemies, they're probably the last areas you open up before the respective final bosses and have no intended way of reaching them before you're supposed to, and they feature an uncomfortably long stretch without a checkpoint.

You feel as if you might be trespassing. Like the bugs here were meant to guard this place. The mantis folk here are far more aggressive than the other’s you’ve met, and you wonder if they really are kin. An aire of royalty and superiority chokes you.

I love this track, it, resting grounds, and city of tears are my favorite area tracks. I also quite like the gardens as an area, I get why many hate them though.

Good music but I absolutely hate the place. Those falling platforms, thorns and flying mantises are not a pleasant combination to deal with
I know it’s like the pale king spent half of the kingdom’s budget on saw blades but the other half was spent by the white lady on platforms that can’t support the weight of a tiny creature made of void
its my favorite place because of how gorgeous it is but actually playing there is a nightmare 😭😭
I found it pretty funny to deal with, it was a good challenge but still enjoyable imo.
