- Season 04, Episode 121: sup crew! park city mountain opened up some more terrain on the mountain village side, so we went out to check it out and hopefully provide a read on how park city is looking before the holidays. we spent the day spinning laps on Thaynes and although it was quite bare, the snow was soft and the vertical was demanding. thanks for watching and hope you enjoy.

Since you're typically skiing advanced/expert terrain, it's all new to me. Sick to see you skiing Bonanza and runs I'm familiar with at PC in this video. I imagine the brush didn't feel too good as you're ripping thru it!
Lucas up here in the PNW a lot of people have a wood burning stove in their van, even seen a few inside a topper over a pick up. Same stoves used for hot tent camping. Always good for an emergency back up. Diesel heaters always seem to require a lot of maintenance. Snow looks way better than we have in WA at the moment but were open . Rock skis reccomend.
Hope the heater issue gets figured out and is back on line soon! Van life is tough in the winter. Feels like it’s geared more towards other seasons than winter when conditions are more optimal and the harsh conditions of out west winters def rough on mechanical parts. Any day out on skis is a good day!

it's amazing how good the snow retention is out west. In VT we had about 80 inches already as well, but with all the rain, it's basically all gone. We might as well have gotten 5 inches.

They're not strong - I was skiing it the other day. You gotta watch out for bigger objects, but you can ride right over the small things.
