About the heroes: Bertrand is bugged so he “must” be fixed, but about Tohar, he is not bugged he works as devs intended and what people are asking is a complete rework of the hero, and even if i would love it (i’m a main mage) i’m also scared that if devs reworks him then it will become an “habit” for the community to ask reworks for hero that they don’t like
Ya I agree Tohar is just suffering from a design problem, though I feel like just making his channel not interrupted by small movements would make him infinitely better without a big change, it feels like that is how it should have been in the first place..:/
I don’t know if you noticed, but Tohar never get any buff from Bertrand’s Compound Interest: When Tohar start channeling, the damage is locked for the entire 5s. So even after the first hit, he proc 1 stack of Golden Mark, the damage from the second hit will not go up by 10%, it will stay the same. In fact, all 5s of channeling damage will be the exact same no matter how many stack of Golden Mark triggered during that 5s. After Tohar finishes channeling, Bertrand gets the full stack and add 15% to his rage skill and trigger one more stack of Golden Mark, but Tohar needs another 5s to start channeling. And after 5s, the mark expires and Tohar would not get any buff from Golden Mark when he start to channel again. I’m not sure if this is a bug or intended.
Can you test something for me? I want to know if pet's Chain Strike (which counts as a normal attack too) would decrease the time needed for Tohar to start channeling.
I haven’t tested it myself but I have been told by others that tested it that it doesn’t work, it seems to need 5 turns of normal attacks. I don’t have a pet with chain strike but I will see about testing it
It will work fine, usually Bertrand as primary is better because of the skill talent tree but the second skill if it does get fixed will work well with any hero
I think the best pair will be Waldyr:Bertrand because Waldyr has 4 rage regeneration talents so it will ensure that Bertrand has 2 stacks consistently.

Yeah that’s a good point, the skill seems to be worded in a way that only Bertrand is meant to benefit, but I’m not sure if that’s intended either

Im going to be doing Bertrand/Theia or Bertrand/Velyn personally those are very good combos as well
devs really need to fix these mages.

Sadly not, they just buffed tohar so much that it didint matter I guess lol
