Hi all, I'm a Sone just like any of you here. The moment I watched this video, I cried. How sad could they have been to cry almost instantly? I bet all of us cried. I hope we can continue to give our support and love to SNSD regardless. I hope there's no wars between us sones..
No hate, peace. I know that everyone is hurt, just like me. And there's also obviously people that are seriously butt-hurt and can't accept the truth. However, I still believe that some of the members, such as Yoona still keep in contact with Jessica because there was a video of Yoona calling Jessica unnie on the phone. I see a fellow army . After party was released I stopped listening to all K-POP and found love in panic at the disco. Just recently (March 17th) I found BTS Becuase of the carpool karaoke. And idk why but it makes me so happy to be an army now but I also get so sad because it reminds me of SNSD. I was just a kid when I listened to them. I’m 15 now, about to be 16. Taeyeon and Tiffany belting their emotions out should be recognised. The both literally put all of their sadness and sentiment in those high notes. Just hearing their high notes make me think that not only they are singers but true ARTISTS, showing their emotions through their singing

@@daeszk Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun left SM back in 2017. Although they aren't SM artists anymore, they're still apart of SNSD. They're still sisters.
And many people blame Taeyeon mostly for Jessica's departure in 2014. Though we don't actually know the entire story from both sides. And we may never know.

They are the most beautiful K-pop girls I have ever seen especially Taeyeon and Sooyoung
7 years and this still hits me. The fact that they cried and this cheerful songs suddenly became a ballad is enough to make me cry as well while watching this. Especially Taeyeon and Tiffany's high notes and the "Saranghae" part. Though i didn't manage to be part of their journey since i'm a new SONE still i know that the way they sing this song is really sad. Even if it's impossible i still hope that these girls will be complete once again.

Well I'm so happy to say that our wish came true coz they are back, as awesome and beautiful as ever. Just alittle older and wiser, but still gourgous and looking like they haven't aged . . . And They had a come back, or was it a lead up. Their back that's all that matters. And I cannot wait to see where thier next decade takes them. Because she is just as heart-broken as the others, and yet, she knows she's the leader. She can't waver, she can't break down. She has to be perfect. Imagine the strength that takes. Imagine knowing that you have to hit those notes flawlessly while your best friends are sobbing messes all around you - and doing so.
The respect I feel for that woman is hard to put in words.

Y'all, Taeyeon literally carried all the shits through the years on her shoulders for Girls' Generation. SM Entertainment hit the lotto with Jessica and Taeyeon as main vocalist but shits turned on. Now, EVERY ONE of them has solo activities and winning awards individually. That's when you realize that Girls' Generation is the most successful group in South Korea.

Sunny is clearly trying to control her emotions. It's ironic how this song used to represent their journey as a rookie before, 9 young girls trying to make it through the harsh industry of kpop and when they perform this song without jess after she left, somehow it gave a new meaning, a journey of each member as an individual going for their dreams as a grown up woman. But this is just beautifully painful to watch.

Jess was forced to leave the group due to her (supposedly ) breaking SM contract with the brand she was launching at the time. It was a really messy situation so I understand why she had to leave. I will still comeback to them, reminisce those happy, sad moments that we(SONES) were once part of it and will always be part of it. they are my home I can't help but cry, Jessica left a hole in my heart that always stings whenever i watch these ITNW ballad version or whenever i watch their live performance without Jess. I love the girls but my heart always belongs to OT9. I will always support them until the end. :>

@@theeepidural6144 this is their debut song way back in 2007, this performance was their way to remembering their journey from audition, debut until finally reach their success. Long and steep road they went through, ups and down they had experienced, and ultimately become no 1 girlgroup at that moment (until now maybe :D). Plus the song itself has the meaning of the journey to achieve our dreams together with everyone we love, and they have their loving and loyal fans, who always be by their side no matter what, and the girls is touched by it. So it was kind a like happy/emotional touched crying

I am a SONE since 2010 and just turned 30 last week. I'm currently working rn. I'm a teacher and while on lunch break I watched a reaction video to this performance and I cried AGAIN. I had to lock my classroom, turn off the lights, hopefully no one disturbs me while I cry my heart out, playing this video again and again til it's time to work again. Girls' Generation has been with me since my college years, Jessica's departure happened during my first year as a teacher, and here I am now. Still a SONE supporting both SoShi members and Jessica Jung with all my heart.
And tbh after Jessica's departure, I can't bear to listen to their song Complete for at least 2 years.

As you can see in this video, she's crying a lot for her. Before Jessica left, Sunny had was animated in her performances. But as Jessica left, Sunny didn't talk in a lot of interviews for a while and I've noticed as she's performing now, her face and eyes are emotionless. It's really sad. I hope she finds happiness again.

I always cry watching this performance. The memory kicked in and it broke my heart. I rmb vividly the news broke out on my graduation day and I thought it was just a prank, I wished it was April fools but it was not... then the next day, the girls had to perform without her. If we're the fans who felt this much emotion, imagine how they felt... it's been so many years and I am so proud of them. I am still a sone after 15 years, I am still here with them.

I can clearly see Taeyeon's tears because some of her face was shiny at the camera. She was holding her tears because as a leader, she doesn't want to show her weakness in front of her members because it may burden them. If you guys think they were faking it, why would they? The company clearly doesn't want any conversation and connection between Sica and the 8 remaining girls so why would SM ask the 8 girls to cry their lungs out because of Sica? Their tears were real and you can easily tell that it wasn't a tears of joy. Their eyes were full of sadness and longing of Jessica.

I heard this performance at a live venue. This performance was very tense at the end of the song.
The audience at the venue was overwhelmed and some even cried.
As the reason member of Girls' Generation were crying , (1) This song was a debut song that they loved so much (2) The arrangement of this song was majestic (3) That this live was the culmination of the past and they wanted to perform at the Tokyo Dome (4) Jessica left just before and they struggled and hurriedly reorganized their formation into an eight-man system (5) They sensed Jessica's greatness and absence. Especially Sunny has failed at important part in previous ’Not Alone' Jessica sung. I felt like that at that time.

@@snsd6291 Hmm, I found 2-3 fancam videos, but the sound is too shoddy to hear whether she made any errors or not. Either way, I don't think her "mistake" is bad enough to call a failure. Artists can get the timing wrong, but if it's not so horrible as to ruin the song, I think it's fine.

I only commented because you said she "failed", and I hadn't seen any version of her making that mistake, so I was curious. Not saying the girls didn't work hard, especially given the short amount of time they had to cover for Jessica, but my question was just asking why it'd be considered a "failure".
