Fashion Designer Esther Perbandt - Admired by Rammstein, Naomi Campbell & Heid Klum | Making The Cut

Esther Perbandt took second place in Heidi Klum's casting show, "Making The Cut". The German fashion designer had already dressed celebrities, like Rammstein singer Till Lindemann, in her androgynous creations. She also made model Naomi Campbell and fashion designer Tim Gunn fall in love with her all-black fashion designs and made Heidi Klum eat black ice cream.

Esther should have won. She is a true artist designer whereas Jonny is a commercial merchandiser. I would wear her stuff in a heartbeat because they are beautiful and elevate you to a different world/ universe. That is where fashion designers should take you...somewhere you have not been, somewhere above in the stars above the world. I don’t even love black but it’s the detail, the total look and the styling that are strong. And each of those looks she did could easily be put in fuschia, yellow, turquoise and still look good,
