How to paint a rusty refrigerator inside

A quick step-by step tutorial on how to paint a rusty refrigerator inside.
Rust inside of a refrigerator can seem pretty scary. Don’t panic and rush to throw your old fridge out. Rust inside a fridge is often a result of condensation. When the protective coating on the inside of the refrigerator wears off, the underlying metal is exposed to the moisture and in time it develops rusty patches.
Rust is simply iron oxide and isn't harmful to your health and it’s not absorbed by the food in your fridge. Still, it looks pretty ugly and if it’s not treated quickly, it spreads fast and could weaken your fridge.
Once the rusty patches are removed and painted over, make sure they won’t return. Give your refrigerate a regular cleaning and remember not to overfill it.
