Simon is such a genius with so much raw talent, and you can tell he really loves what he does. I loved the casting and how he uses models that are less mainstream- I saw so many new faces! Diversity was also good. The music and name of the collection are so fitting, bravo Jacquemus!! Such a beautiful collection.
So the feeling I got when I watched Alexander McQueens final collection ‘Plato’s Atlantis’ the overwhelming emotion and tingles is what just happened at 13:29 . The feeling that just come over me, as a brown stylist in fashion it’s so hard to feel recognised but this just made me feel so incredible. Simon thank you for bringing fashion back and making people of colour feel included.
I disagree, while the model choice may have not been the best , the flowy silhouettes and the v necklines reminiscent of the jellabas and the color palette gives a very 70s souq vibe And the music ranged from ray to issawa to Arabic music to show the melting pot of cultures that Morocco is
Jacquemus is actually better than Dior, Channel and Givenchy, it's fasion is elegant and it adapts to this times elegancy, not that kind of old type, with rectangules and that same boring shit. Wish it could be as famous as other brands, it desearve it.
