The C25 handbook advises against sailing with the poptop raised. Should you get knocked down - as I did once - you can ship enough water to sink the boat.
I sail a 21 foot San Juan and there's nothing like the peacefulness of sailing. Typical same issues though, lines fouling, etc. lol That's sailing for you.
The camera is a Garmin Virb XE with built in stabilization and a GPS. When you import the video to your PC it allows you to be able to add any of the telemetry it recorded with the video. Pretty amazing and easy to use too.
is there normally bug netting or canvas on that popup? I was looking at listing for one of these and it said popup. That's what brought me here. I'm trying to figure out what that popup looks like before spending the time to go look at the boat.

Yes makes it nice at anchor... not intended or recommended to sail with it up, allows way to much water in if you get knocked down. lol

Terence Alderson Yes there is a fitted canvas cover. It's not advisable to sail with the pop top up.

Garmin Virb XE. It has built in GPS and stabilization. Very easy to use and well designed.
