Some quality info in here mate, good job. I can tell you're incredibly knowledgeable and trying to share it - exactly what I like to see. I'm REALLY not sure how this only has 720 views (and 305 subs??) at the time of this comment but god damn this is a goldmine of tips/secrets/strategies that actually work and clearly obtained form yeeeaaars of producing, this shit wasn't learned overnight. Best of luck to you man - keep going, you'll blow up soon!
Thanks so much man, that means a lot. I've just started this channel, my main channel (longestsoloever) has been going for 15 years, and thankfully has had a lot of success.
Thank you! I’ve been producing trap for over a year and I’ve gotten interested in metal production through BM . It’s a lot to take in but these remakes really help me understand everything that goes on in metal songs. Much love.
It's important to note BMTH uses a lot more electronics and synths than other metal bands BUT if you've been doing trap you're likely used to all that already ;)
Thanks for bringing us behind the scenes on this one, lots of great techniques shown here, and the track sounds great! Possible editing error at 18:57, "here's what that sounds like on its own..." [skip to verse]
I want to start my journey into electronic music prod in metal, too used to the classic way of recording with only real instruments and you're a great help with those kind of video, thanks A LOT.
Bro this is amazing! Can you PLEASE do an episode like this one for a band called October Ends? They have some of the most interesting productions I've heard recently. I would suggest listening to any of these 3 songs, Play Time, Destroy Us All or Of Stars. Very good episode and super informative mate. Subbed!!
Hey Dean! This is amazing. I’ve been trying to produce in this style ever since Survival Horror dropped, and your video has been an enormous help overall. One question; do you know how the band and producers achieved the “glitching voice” (for lack of a better term) in the intro and also at the 3:06 point in the original song?
Thank you very much bro! I'm still wondering which drums to use to figure this kind of sound out in spite of layering drum n bass sounds. Would you recommend me a splice library please? I've been using Sullivans king but its kinda metal/dubstep and im not feeling it. Just suscribed, and liked. Thanks again.
Thanks Tobias! On this (and most electronic stuff) I'm using the Native Instruments "Arena Kick 1" and "Arena Snare 1" from Battery 4. I just really dig those samples, they're punchy as hell and I use them on everything.

Quick question, when should we expect a mixing video?

Sounds like some downsampling and maybe a vocoder
and pitch shifting up incrementally by semitones
@@nicksmith4924 after much experimentation I think you’re right! Thanks
sorry what did he put in the drums to make them that distorted in the verse 1 ? did he use decapitator ?
Wow wow , hey man , This Is Amazing , Thanks I loved it
