Quite possibly one of the most interesting recent big dirt moving videos I've seen. Payhaulers pulling double belly dumps, big Michigan loader and Terex dozer all in one place. That outfit isn't afraid to mix the old and new.
Agreed
Good
Would like to see them unload.

That’s probably one of the most interesting hauls I’ve seen set up in a long time!..those old payhaulers sure have some beans to be lugging that weight like that!!..very impressive!!
I've not seen or heard of anyone still using a payhauler for a long time. Good to see. Like the terex too
I was just on a tour of Thornton quarry just south of Chicago (limestone) . I think the largest in north America. They are running payhaulers under their graded crushed silos. They've got a tunnel setup under a large cluster of silos where the payhaulers fit perfectly. I know they're antique so I asked the guide about them and he said they're getting to point of having to make some big changes those old girls are around 80000 chassis hours and its getting together to rebuild them
Love the old payhaulers. This is so good, who ever decided to put 2 belly dumpers behind the big Inter is smart as.
What a rare sight, rare machines like Clark loader and Terex dozer and especially International Payhauler with bottom dump trailers
Would love to see the dumping sequence at the fill. Never seen belly dumps pulled that way!
Outstanding.475C must be close to 40 years old
Not gonna lie. At first I thought that thumbnail was photoshopped. Thats an immaculate fleet of old iron.
Vintage show? 😁 Never thought they would still working somewhere. Nice catch!
Hope there’s more from this site! Loved it
Enjoyed watching this one, those bottom dumpers are not something I see very often.
That's insane, never seen anything like this, rigid hauler truck pulling onroad-style bottom dump trailers, wow.
Job would be big enough for a LeTourneau Electric Digger :-O
Very interesting video! I haven't seen Clark/Michigan loaders, Terex dozers, or International back dumps working in forever. I love it.
With all the computer/emissions stuff, I feel like there’s going to be more stuff like this popping up.
Twin V8 92 Detroit 50t all wheel drive Payhauler.. i miss operating them.. absolute beast..
It's nice to see those old girls out getting it done still when all the new stuff is broke down and needing repairs😂
I drove one of them pay haulers on interstate 94 in North Dakota by crystal springs😊
Wide pads on the TEREX is cool, love to see more on these guys! Very interesting video
cant tell if this is an actual jobsite or just an old iron show lol
The Michigan's DPF isn't working right or maybe the DEF tank is empty.
Is a old machine, pre EPA standarts, simply dont have any devise suth DPF or DEF.
the only Def operating was in the EAR
Awesome Equipment!!!
Kinda nice to see something other than caterpillars moving dirt. Once upon a time Cat had competition but they stamped them all out.
Moving Dirt any way possible! All Hands on Deck. Great video Great mix of equipment.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You'd have to have a fleet of mechanics to go along with it all!
Unreal setup 🤯🤯🤯 the Terex dozer that's in the way a little is super rare same and the Mitchagan loader ❤ but I don't understand how ya can tip the dump truck then the bottom dump trailers without a load being in the way 🤷🏼♂️
I'm guessing they jackknife the tongue to dump like an on-highway dump truck does with a pup.
Or spread dump
I would guess that the payhauler is fly dumping and just dragging the tandem belly dumps through the mess.
They dump the back one first and then the middle and the Payhauler last in the run
Nice video Kenny,
Eclectic comes to mind. I wasn't sure if this wasn't Mexico or another foriegn country running a hodgepodge like this.
That was a bit different ! suprised the old dump trucks could pull all that weight, must be mainly level ground.
Nice video, but what an Chinese fire drill operation
1970s tech working seriously! Awesome
Can't be in California tier 4 stage 2 required for all machines there.
Nevada?
North Dakota. They are re-doing the west bound lanes on a section of I94 West of Bismarck.
I would love to know where this is at, and what contractor it is.
Definitely an example of running whatever you happen to have.
It's in north Dakota
Like it .
Close to 100 yd's a run by my count 👊
Not sure where this is or what’s actually getting done but I’d like to be involved.
More!
Ngl, seeing a haul truck lugging a pair of loaded bottom dumps behind it that would normally be pulled by an on-highway semi-tractor is kind of odd, I didn't even know these haul trucks had hitches on the back, unless that wasn't standard from the factory and were added on later as an aftermarket modification.
Medina , North Dakota
👍👍👍
Look at that lineup , old iron anyone ?
I want to see them dumping, do they jackknife to dump the pay hauler or try to spread it enough to pull the bellydumps thru or I guess they could be dumping in a hopper but them the sidedumps wouldn't be hauling to the same place. Hope there is a follow up video
Back in time
There actually building a new highway, that’s rare isn’t it cuz normally there rebuilding highways not making new ones
Cut and fill on the railway corridor in the central valley?
Vintage kit never dies it keeps getting reborn , they are some strange muck shifting outfits .
Imagine being the guy who priced that for scrapers or a spread of 777s then getting underbid and seeing this circus pull up
Looks like someone raided the bone yard. 40 year old machines...
Hau tantas razones por lo que lo que estamos viendo, no tiene absolutamente sentido, sin embargo ahí está.
That Clark loader is very slow.
You got to be kidding...with all those...old man killing iron. Wow.
I am surprised the snowflakes in California still let these old school machines run.
The most inefficient setup I've ever seen ,but that old iron is definitely cool
Wow what a wild equipment spread for a highway job
I’d like to know how they bid this job
Running shit equipment and no technology. GPS is king
