One of the greatest albums ever made
YES!
What isn't often mentioned is how fantastic the Bass player is!
Eddie Jackson is outstanding
Caught a guitar pick from him at an Orlando show couple decades ago. Still have it with my ticket
Eddie was always and is still. Saw them live 3x...'89, '91 and '03
They’re all so good. What about Scott Rockenfield on drums? He gets overlooked too.
Whole band was talented! Saw them before the ep came out!!! Never heard a voice like that live before! Insane vocals!!!
Queensryche at their absolute peak.
Mind crime was 88,They became really big after this album and the next Empire
Greatest concept album ever IMO.
Every song is a chapter in the story.
What a voice..........wow
One of the best!!!
This whole album is great.
Probably the best hard rock vocalist of all time!
Man, I could not have clicked fast enough. Queensrÿche is an incredible band, and Operation: Mindcrime is an incredible album. I'd also recommend these songs from them: Empire, I Don't Believe In Love, Take Hold Of The Flame, Walk In The Shadows, Silent Lucidity, Revolution Calling, Suite Sister Mary, & Jet City Woman.
Same here
THE prog-metal concept album for the ages.
Still every bit as relevant today as it was in '88.
@@joebalusikiii5811 Absolutely... perhaps even more.
Pure metal masterpiece, Geoff is one of the best singers to ever do it
I love this song
The recommendation was spot on - Best Album of all time !! React to it from front to back. !
This song is fire love Queensryche 🤘🔥🔊🔉🔉🔊🔉🎤🎸🎸🎸🥁🎼🔊🔉🔉🔉🔉🔊🔉🤘🔥eyes of stranger is banger
Operation: Mindcrime is arguably the best concept album I’ve ever heard or seen!!
So good
Going back in time. Thank you 🤘
Operation: Mindcrime released in May 1988, and remains the best concept album of all time. The entire things tells a story, and this song is the end of it, yet is easily the best on the album. Geoff Tate's voice is just unbelievable, man was truly talented.
Oh hell yes!!!
I was 26 from that album was released can I go back the 80's was my favorite decade 2000's suck I'm 62 now 60's have sucked
I'd argue that it's the second-best concept album...Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" holds the top spot. But if that's the only album that can beat OM, it's a very high bar indeed.
Rush 2112. Floyd Animals. And This
Watch Operation Mindcrime from front to back. You’ll hate yourself for waiting any longer. Best album ever.
You gotta listen to entire story/ album..
I have this album on every format - vinyl, cassette, cd, vhs, and dvd
ABSOLUTE BANGER! 🔥
Revolution Calling is very close to where we are might have a listen.
The concert Operation Live Crime is a great watch too.
I highly recommend checking out this whole album! Its a concept album and it is crazy how relevant it still is. Seriously, time well spent to listen to the full thing from start to finish!
That whole album tells a story.
ENTIRE ALBUM REACTION YOU TWO !!!! FRONT TO BACK ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is an album that paints a picture from the 1st note all the way through. Geoff Tate is a great vocalist. Operation Mindcrime is classic and will always be 1 of my favorites!
1988, mate. Concept album that's pure gold. Invest your time, your attention in it. De nada. ;-)
Gotta listen to the whole album/story line. Great "rock opera"...late 80's
I love Queensryche too. Thanks.
In the 1988 i was a teenager 16 years old (italy) i had purchased lp vinyl . Best concept album Operation mindcrime , best Queensryche lp. Of the opd lineup he was left Alone one guitar player. Michael Wilton , and bass Eddie Jackson, lineup completely changed. Furst left gutar Chris de garmo many years a go. + lead Singer Geoff Tate and drums Scott Rockefield 3 years a go.
Another great song by them is" take hold of the flame."
Geoff Tate can just sing like a master. As a rock and metal vocalist he is on such an elevated level. With that much talent there was no way he was gonna remain unknown. I don’t know if there’s a modern-day equivalent to him, in the hard rock and metal genres. He’s definitely a very tough act to follow.
It was in 88 this was made I believe as well as the whole album
Listen to the album
That whole album is a story. Operation MIndcrime. One the best albums ever made.
Take hold of the flame live 1984 Tokyo.
Check out their acoustic version of Della Brown. Amazing band....musically and lyrically. To fully appreciate this album, listen to it in it's entirety
Nice reaction, top album, try their “I don’t believe in love”.
Awesome concert seen them in there hay day, young cats, awesome album they put out, MTV days yeah 🤘😆🤘🎤🥁🎸🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥
Queensrhyche were and infact still are an amazing band - this is actually from the album Operation Mindcrime from 1988 🤘
The last song a really good concept album. Must be herd from start to finish to truly appreciate the story of our "hero".
One word badass
Eyes of a stranger is on operation mindcrime which was released on may 2 1988.
May 3rd 1988 was the release..
I saw the Mindcrime tour .....great show...Geoff Tate....was simple one of the best rock vocalist ...period.
You got to listen to the whole album from the beginning.....
1988..Progressive metal..And I'm pretty sure you were trying to say it sounds catchy..
The bass guitar mix is awesome on this whole album It was 1988 when this came out Wow. 36 years ago. Where TF did the time go 😮
Saw these guys open for Def Leppard on the Operation Mind crime tour and while Def Leppard was great, Queensryche blew them off the stage!
This was a concept album. Each song tokd a story that makes up the whole. . The album ends just as it began. You have to hear the whole album
I only glanced through the comments... but the full album (Operation: Mindcrime/Video: Mindcrime) is one of the greatest Concept Albums of all time! Definitely in my personal top 3. I have a music video playlist on my channel, but I don't own or host any of the music videos on my channel.
You have got to listen to the entire Operation Mindcrime album. It is a concept album that tells a story. One of the best concept albums of all time.
The album tells a story. YALL need to listen to it in its entirety and and decide if it's similar ro today's political and media climate. Crazy to think this was released back in 1988.
I saw them with Metallica on the Damaged Justice (And Justice For All) tour and I don’t think I’m overstating things when I say I was one of about 10 people who appreciated their set at that show. It was an unfortunate pairing. I’ve always thought Queensryche was ahead of their time. Great to see them getting recognition now.
One song doesn't do it
You're need to react to the entire operation.mindcrime album
It's a freaking masterpiece
The video I think is early 90s
1988 this was released
Great band all the way through the 80's , I modeled my guitar playing off Metallica but my singing off this guy Geoff Tate! Awesome stuff!
The album is a concept album it tells a story about a cult and how a young man and young woman got drawn into it and it destroyed their lives
You should react to anything from Empire Great album!!!!
80s!
Please listen to their song Roads to Madness, you won't be disappointed. Thank you
Operation mindcrime is an amazing record.
Any song from queensryche from Operation Mindcrime other one is good as road to madness take hold of the flame another rainy night anybody listening etc
Late 80's
have tolisten to whole Album It is a Concept Album
Late 80's bro
Its from 1988.
Mindcrime greatest concept progressive metal album not 90' s mid 1988 I was 26 when it was released God let me go back 2000's sucks I'm 62 now it sucks 20"s beat decade of my life
The Empire album is just as good if not better.. 1990
The only thing that always bothered me was the intro to this song is almost a direct rip off of Pink Floyd - Empty Spaces, but otherwise it’s incredible.
THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE TO QUEENSRYCHE
Can you make the video smaller please. I can still almost see it. Shame on the mess.
One of best vocalists back then. Him and Bruce Dickinson did the rock opera type music. However when Geoff Tate went a little loony, I stopped following them. Queensryche still exists with some of the original members however, except Todd LaTorre has taken the front man spot and he sounds almost like Tate.
Check out the live version of take hold of the flame!!!
Late 80s baby!!
CRIMINAL YOU DONT HAVE EVERY WORD TO THIS ALBUM MEMORIZED. BEST THEMED ALBUM EVER. BEST ALBUM DIO DIDNT SING ON
