The try v Toulon is one of the best I have ever seen - the way he slows down and then hits the afterburner not once but twice to leave the defenders grasping at thin air was masterful....
What I like about this guy, apart from his obvious pace, etc is that although he is young, he is not selfish and actually passes the ball when it needs to be done. He seems to have a good Rugby instincts. Eddie should get him into the England set-up ASAP
Has good hands, real speed, judgment … Would love to see him develop at No.15 for England with the mercurial Marcus Smith at no.10. Get Arundell playing for England this summer and he’ll be ready for the RWC in 18 months.
Yep, England will be facing the likes of Samoa, possibly USA aswell as Argentina and Japan in the group stages, he would be a real handful for those teams.
I can see him being more of a winger with Steward at 15 as we know Eddie likes to play with 3 15’s in the back 3 also his pace also makes sense for him to be a winger at international level
@@Danimal13 Seriously, England would be a mighty threat in International rugby if they played to a similar gameplan to the Blues in Super Rugby! Joe Marchant looked a completely different player when he played for them 2 years ago!
@@JP1234815 I don’t follow super rugby that much but I’m guessing they play an expansive brand of rugby because Marchant is also thriving at quins who play a very fast and open game too. Also didn’t Marchant play on the wing too?
@@Danimal13 Yes, Rieko Ioane came back from injury, and because Marchant was playing so well they didn't want to drop him. The Blues play a really ultra attacking game. 2 weeks running they've scored over 50 points against opposition and where you see teams go for the box kick they tend to run the ball, stretching defences to the full width of the pitch. I'll be surprised if at least 4 of their backs don't play for NZ this summer.
Can’t wait for Eddie to play him at tight head prop against the barbarians before he’s goes off to Scotland and scores against us 15 times in the next six nations.
I agree, Jones needs to take note of these young talents and play them in their preferred position, I’d say Barbeary Lynagh and him are 3 of the best young talents rn.
@@rariman2326 Totally agree. Lynagh is injured but I feel sure he would've got his first cap in this Australia tour. He seems very focused on playing for England though, hopefully he doesn't get poached... To think that we could have an 8, 9, 10 and 11 all from quins is exciting as hell... Full back; but he seems to have such talent that he might start just about anywhere in the backs. Haven't felt such anticipation since Jonny W burst on the scene...
He'll be utterly wasted by Eddie Jones either through daft positioning, 10 minutes at the end of a losing game (where in he'll achieve nothing and be dropped permanently) or simply not selecting him at all and allowing him to be capped by someone else. Sucks to be an England supporter at the moment. More so than usual.
Another public schoolboy, makes you sick. Lots of ordinary lads from ordinary schools you'll never get to see how good they are as the suits at the RFU aren't interested in them

Yeah that would be good
He's fast but to his advantage you can actually see him going through his gears as he runs
He looked just like Campo as he was taking the pass for his long range try against Toulon
England need to cap him soon. Wales and Scotland are already sniffing around. I hope we don’t miss out on him like we did with Redpath.

no doubt eddie jones will take him on the australia tour and he will get 10 mins in the last game at inside centre.
As long as he gets capped I'll take it. Couldn't bear the sight of him scoring a blinder for Scotland against us if we allow them to poach him
