Yeah, I definitely prefer 8DX’s version of the music. Whilst the bahs were nice in Tour’s version, I just couldn’t stand how high pitch some of the synth sections got. 8DX definitely made much easier to listen too
@@TeknoThom yeah according to the a music leak very early on last year the bahs were originally planned to stay in the booster course pass version while the rest of the music is very similar to what we have now. But as we know they took the bahs out of the music once the track is officially released.
I think it's a bit if a missed opportunity to not have the Hollywood sign included on the mountain range. It's one of the most well-known landmarks in the USA, but it's not even there in the _one_ Tour course it could've appeared in.

Thanks! I'm really into the Sydney Sprint theme, but I actually think both versions of Los Angeles Laps are reflective of certain cultures here. The saxophone version makes me think of The Weather Channel here during the late 1990s.
I'll never understand why they thought the oil field looked flattering. These tracks are supposed to make us WANT to visit these cities. It's like if we got a course called "Topeka Trot" that takes us past the Westboro Baptist church.
The Golden Dash Cup should be completed on the development side before Wave 6 releases, but we're going to see what releases are feasible once the Wave 5 set is fully released.
We're trying a weekly release, but sometimes news comes up. There's a contingency plan if Wave 6 is announced before everything is released. Sunset Wilds is done over here, by the way.
Toad Circuit, Choco Mountain, and Coconut Mall from the Golden Dash Cup are next up from Wave 1, and we'll have some sort of release plan in place once all Wave 5 content is published. Courses from the Lucky Cat Cup will release after that.

Even if no one else thinks so, I know they butchered the course at least slightly. The music feels so lifeless in comparison to Tour's unqiue acapella style and them taking away the sunset detracts from the beauty of the track. I'm guessing they changed the time of day to make Sunset Wilds more "impressive" (because even if it's the only track in the wave with a sunset it's still rubbish that it doesn't set).

The mix of the saxophone and guitar just does not sound great to me in 8 Deluxe

The 8 Deluxe version is better, because it doesn't have the annoying NSMB style music that the Tour version has.

I honestly agree. The Tour version sounds so weird to me, it doesn't give a California vibe to me. The 8 version sounds more California all the way.
