Yeah that’s the thing. Saxe didn’t know about Tariq’s connections with Noma or Obi. The green cards happened after Saxe’s death. Which brings us to the million dollar questions: What’s really on the drive? And WHO sent it?

I had this wild thought way before Power Book 2 started that Effie were eyes for Ghost when it came to Tyriq. The chess game when they were in high school and Effie getting Tyriq caught up for selling drugs . Her mysterious connect that never got revealed. Only thing is I think she went outside the plan and started doing things on her own once she caught feelings for him. Why do I mention this because she has been close enough to Tyriq to know some of his moves. If I'm your opponent and I know some of your moves I can counter them to make things go my way. I'm just saying don't underestimate her role.

Yeah there is no possible way Saxe could have had that information.
Jr never said Sax told him or left information about the green cards. Jr said “Sax left a file on everything, and ONCE he got into the green cards he figured out the rest.” Jr also mentioned Tate’s name but he never said Sax let ft that info on the drive. In fact, Jr never mentioned what was on the drive.
Sax was caught snooping in Davis office, sax may have planted a bug or camera in Davis office. We just don't know. Jr told Blanca the drive was his way in to work he was doing on his own. Sax could have simply told him there's a connection between Tate and Tariq because sax knows it was Tate who called in a favor to get the judge to hear tariqs case for a bond.
OBI is gonna die or get arrested for the green cards… Cane wouldn’t need to be Noma’s right hand man unless OBI is no longer around.

Whoever Tate's connection was to get Dre and his family the new identities is the one who sent Junior that flashdrive about the greencards. It isn't Saxe like you said because the timeline doesn't add up. It isn't Ghost because he's not alive. If he is alive and sent that drive he got Junior unalived. I can't see that especially since Junior was connected to Angela and Paz was left money in the will.
The only people powerful enough with this pull and also needed Junior out of the way is Sterns and Ott. RSJ, maybe because we really don't know his backstory. I am also not ruling out Davis because he seems too mysterious and we don't know how dirty he really is. Great video btw!
My thoughts for Ghost returning would were the premiere because it was the 10 yr anniversary. Mid season episode, the 8th episode is always big for Power , or the Finale. If Omari Narrates Origins it would make sense for him to tell Origins to Tariq. Tariq has been angry this whole time because he feels like his life is a lie and he doesn’t really know his Father. If they do a couple scenes like someone is watching Riq then I think that is Ghost until he returns. If Riq get locked up for Jr murder cause ain’t no way the Feds gonna believe that story after the forensics, Ghost could write Riq his Origin story while Riq is locked up .

It has to be Ghost sending the letters; reason(s) being for Tariq to clear his loose ends like Ghost did. Sending the flash drive to Junior ill's 3 birds one stone (Junior, Tate, and Obi) Junior because he's a fed and he wanted the st.patricks avenging Angela. Tate because why not!? after all Tate flopping and backhand things he's done. and Obi because he's a loose end and it weakens Nomas army. (how'd Noma soldiers know about Obi Green cards deal) The letter to Tommy was from the tejadas Diana gave to Kate. This helped Tahsa escape from WITsec and go "off the grid" and help Tariq wit things Ghost cant aka taking shots at Monet. The letter to 2bit was simply to take Tariq's car because it was too hot for him to be driving a noticeable Porsche around. The letter to Jenny was simply to get her off of Tariqs back because she was getting close. Also remember Ghost sent a letter to Tariq stating "stop thinking you're smarter than me" Ghost name is what it is for a reason and ghost was so good at hiding in plain sight and sneaking up on you. He's toeing the line very thin for Tariq for him to be put in jail where he will get a final letter or visit from ghost in prison. Effie may be Ghost's mole on Tariq

That’s the first betrayal in S3; no one even talks about it. Stern is def pissed at Tariq and Tasha for multiple reasons. He gonna be back in the fold somehow. And he has all the connections to make it possible.

I hope this is a twist, and not a mistake. If it's a twist, I absolutely love it! We spent months trying to figure out what was on it, and that was not the actual issue, lol. My money is on RSJ... he's a sleeper. I am probably one of the only people who does not think Ghost is alive, and doesn't want him to be.

Saxe sent the flash drive and letters out. Noma could get a hold of Tate and Tate tell Noma that he gave Obi the green cards . Noma could ask Tate information about Tariq and Tate would throw Tariq under the bus for money for donations to his campaign.
PLEASE explain to me how Saxe got the info about Obi and the Greencards the next day from the ground? He literally explains the timeline in this video.
